utter chaos this morning trying to get things organized and complete.
@Lynn49 , thanks for the suggestions. Cooper has been on a strict white rice and chicken diet since Monday, with pumpkin puree in between meals as a 'treat'. I did forget about bananas though (which he loves) so no issues there.
We'll see how he does in the next day or so. He's completely himself otherwise though.

Oh, goodie, @danger_dan , I hope all that love, attention and food brings Cooper 'round again.
@Natalka , are you on antibiotics for your blister? I know you mentioned that you didn't want it to turn into an infection....so sorry you're in such pain, Nat.

I've made 2 dozen key lime tarts, but I used a more of a mousse recipe; I hope our DD's office likes them. I just have to wrap the shoe bag I sewed and she can pick everything up on her way to work in the morning.

Now it's on to Thanksgiving, where I'm responsible for the dressing and dessert; a mousse pumpkin pie has been requested again this year, it seems everyone likes the fluffier version of that pie, but I still love the original. However...it'll be mousse.

It's another beautiful sunny day here, but I'll continue to purge my winter clothes...I mean how many black turtlenecks does one need?! Nevermind. A lot. Is the answer.

No, not on any antibiotics because there is no infection. On the surface of the wound, the nurses put down some sort of pads which have a med on them, but I cannot remember the name. Then over that the bandages are put.

I know sometimes pain comes with healing, but frankly I didn't expect so much. It's a big surface area which needs to heal, and it happened on a place where my skin was already rather fragile.

I'm taking pain meds on schedule, that's for sure! But, gosh, they now have so many different places on my bod to work on - hope they can spread out and conquer!

Mmm pumpkin pie and whipped cream... Wonder if I would be able to eat that?
