@Natalka , one of the first things I do in the morning when getting dressed is put in my pearl stud earrings; I'm never without them on. If I miss some time without wearing them, it's a pain to get an earring in one of them. So yes, I'm quite fashionable doing housework!
@GoJays ...omgosh!!! I miss our Border Collie so much! She was cinnamon and white and she was my shadow, as is Jenny. Totally different personalities...Tammy was a grown-up, Jenny is still a baby, always will be. I don't think Doxies ever grow up. Which is nice.

Oh, boy are we getting snowed under! It started last night and is still coming down; we're very lucky to have done our running about yesterday when I could still wear my sneaks...today it would be winter boots for sure. Damn, I think this is here to stay.
March cannot get here fast enough!!

We had NO...I repeat, NO snow yesterday!!!
Our DD was on the phone with us on the way home...all-wheel drive, snow tires, doing 20km all the way home...lots of bumper-thumpers, busses halted...it's just horrible!!!

Today was my appointment at Canadian mental health (I go every 2 weeks) she signed me up for a Christmas hamper to be delivered dec 12th. Then I went to the gym for the treadmill and weights. It turned ugly outside in the time I was at my appointment. Got really windy and cold with blowing snow and up to 50km wind gusts. Should be better tomorrow and I’ll be back to the gym for spin class. Hope everyone is doing well.

@Lynn49 - What a change in the weather! I hate to ask, but why is the police station flag at half mast?

We are getting wild wind - on and off rain - but when it comes down, it POURS! Temp is still supposed to be 10, though.

I went to the Mennonite Thrift shop to hopefully to find a hall cabinet that I had seen last week. Snoozers are Losers -but I did find a desk and shelf that I want to use. Got to get going see ya!

It's still blowing out there, I think most of the city's power has been restored, we never lost ours. Our DD phoned to check up on us and made sure we knew to go over there if we didn't have power overnight. They have 2 guest-rooms so we'd be comfy through the night. There are downed trees almost everywhere, scattered branches; it's going to be quite the clean-up here for crews tomorrow, but we're plowed out so that's great, although I doubt we have any intention of venturing out.

Good morning, everyone!

I booked my first wedding for next summer last night. They are neighbours of my BrotherB. Nice little backyard deal. They have 2 little girls. So, you see, summer will come!

It isn't raining but supposed to be major chilllllly with winds today.

Well, I am going to check out some online deals and get a fairly early start to my day. My across-the-hall neighbour is putting on a cabaret performance this afternoon featuring his "Elvis " personna. He's not the best singer but boy, he's a great entertainer!

I have to pick up a parcel from the post office and I think that's my only other firm commitment today.

Ok, I have to get breakfast before the parade....it's times like this i really miss my Mom, we loved these parades!

Oh, it's on, @Lynn49 .
Just finished a half hour walk with the Tootles. Very Brisk, but invigorating.

I finished up filling my nephews' advent calendar drawers in the Advent wooden houses that I bought at Michael's last year.

I remembered some little magnetic words that I bought a few years ago and included some little messages like, "Miss you" to my nephew who has been away at university.

After 1 I will go and pick up my parcel at the post office and just maybe an outdoor set of lights...
