Good morning friends! I am in "fix it" mode. I pulled my whole dishwasher apart trying to figure out why it is not cleaning and leaving white flecks (like toothpaste) on my bowls.
Couldn't really find a good reason for the issue and ran out of steam. So now I have a dishwasher rack full of dishes in the middle of the kitchen floor- a washing machine which makes huge thumping noises when it spins and the track for the blinds which I had installed on my patio door having pulled away from the ceiling. I think that I had better call maintenance!

But, hey, it's supposed to be 8° today!

Where are those shorts?😁

Better see if I can launch into the day!

Hi, everyone - whenever you are able to see this!

Well, we are both in rough shape, honestly it's the blind leading the blind....
Somehow we are getting through. Husband's back is bad - he had seen the Doc who said from the fall he had on the ice last week that there was some swelling, and gave him T3s for the pain. I don't know how much they are helping with his discomfort, but he has been sleeping loads, which is good for him, too. It's hard to see him in such bad shape - and these are holidays he took off for r&r!

Me, back was getting better, but lots of pain has resurfaced two days ago. Plus, I have some weird dizzy (not my normal dizzy!) going on, so I have to do everything even more carefully.

Good news - appetite and taste are pretty darned good! What my son said after our snackie meal Boxing Day "so you go from barely tasting, and you crush the shrimp, oysters, and whitefish? No one would believe that!"

Portions are tiny, but I seem to be able to taste almost everything. I have totally enjoyed the leftovers for lunches yesterday and today. Any nausea I get tends to be worse later in the day, so I'm not exactly a fan of supper...
