Aw, @walkonby , @flemeth , I guess you two feel the way I do when the Packers lose a playoff game.
I'm not as deeply invested in the Leafs; since I never expect them to win those games, I'm never too disappointed. But good for Calgary and the Jay's!

Another beautiful day here on the island, the rain forecast was lifted, so it'll be gorgeous. The family will leave today after our GS's workday is over at 2pm, but we'll stay on until Tuesday.

Good morning. Another overcast and rainy day here I’m seriously doubting we will even have a summer ? We certainly haven’t had a spring.

I pulled some muscles in my back yesterday when I was decluttering some kitchen cabinets. It’s the odd spot below the bottom of the shoulder blades but higher then the waistline. I may have irritated it when I was doing my weights earlier this week, especially when I did the reverse fly movement. Then it blew up when I was cleaning. Sleep wasn’t good

There was a lot of noise at our place last night with an ambulance and then crazy lunatics arguing (not related to the ambulance) so we are exhausted and Dh is back laying down for a bit. I’d like to join him right about now.

We’re going to maybe go for a drive since there isn’t much I feel like doing in the rain.

the rain is here....here I mean. We both forgot to lift all the cushions off the outside furniture last night , so this morning I noticed some pieces were soaking wet! The sun does an amazing job in drying them out, no worries.

I'm still laughing about the massive 6 head package of romaine that I snagged form NF yesterday for $2.74 .
DH and DS each ate a rather large salad with dinner last night, I'm not eating Caesar dressing atm ( diet ) , so most of this romaine will be theirs to eat up....lol
They are game though, as both of them want to pare down their bodies a bit....all that winter eating saw them put on some weight. Taking salads in for work meals just doesn't cut it when the weather is cold and damp.
Now that summer is almost here, that can change.

Nothing much on the to-do list here for me, so I'll continue on with my computer games. Scrabble, backgammon... here I come!

oh wow! seems I am bringing up the rear here! I WAS up much earlier, honestly I was, but got doing those pesky responsible things like feeding the pets, relining the garbage receptacles, checking for front door fridge smudges which drive me bananas!
Will the chores never end? ha ha

So far it's a nothing day in the kitchen. Nothing planned, no new dishes to create. DH and DS seem good for thier work meals for a couple of days. I am going to continue bingeing a tv series.

How disappointing was it to discover that the " new " tv show in 2021 called Ghosts is a FRAUD!
We watched all of Season 1, thinking this is a brilliant brand new comedy, with great characters, scenarios, laughable scary stuff, not even frightening which I appreciate.

Turns out similar to Ricky Gervais hit The Office, this originated in England, so yes even though the American Ghosts show IS good, it's a carbon copy. I am already on episode 5 of the BBC one.

Good morning my friends! Hope everyone knows what to wear each day cuz I seem to be hit or miss or perhaps it’s the weather itself,one season after another but instead day after day seems to be the norm.
Thought I would post as no annoying difficulties nor surprises logging on to SC second time round. Also a slow day for me after dealing with a pounding headache.Of course my charge is low so must go.
