Some good late night baking on Thursday for me. Did up a huge kaiser loaf of bread for the guys....to go with the beef stew, but they chowed down early on the the Beef empanada's so they're saving the stew for a work meal.
It's an out day for me....need gas and fresh produce.

howdy @flemeth ! Seems odd that no one posted in between your two very lovely weekend morning greetings.
It's rare , but there are times I have nothing to say so I don't post.
Today I dropped over to Walmart to wake up the staff at 7 a.m.
I've imagined the laugh some employees must have with customers who show up bright eyed with their hands on their wallets eager to spend at 7 a.m.

My reasoning was to get in and out of WM, back here for Frankie's scheduled 8 a.m. day to start. It's a routine we've grown to love.
Today's tiny bits of fruit that I placed out for him were watermelon, mango, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and kiwi.
I use a plastic lid as his platter, always comical to me the way he tosses ONLY the pieces of blackberry around the cage.

If he could speak he may be cursing the whole time and muttering " Freaking Blackberries again! I have told you I hate them! " OR... he might be so delighted to have his favourite berry there that he makes a game out of it? Why can't animals talk? Just not fair, I need to know what they think!

I baked a second giant loaf of Kaiser bread this morning because the one baked on Thursday night is all gone! As DS went up to bed this morning he very meekly asked, but in no way demanded.....saying " um, if you were going to, but you don't HAVE to, but if it isn't too much trouble.... could you maybe make another loaf of that bread? "
God I LOVE grovelling! Fills my heart right up.

Oh, @walkonby , it's such a joy to read your posts here and in emails...your "God I love grovelling" just hit the nail on the head! Kids can be so PC asking for something, like our DD's 2 summer weekend girlfriends who tried to subtly ask if I'd make them "just one" of those note-pad covers I made for our DD which she's so proud of showing off, hahahaha! Yes....6 each, ready to be assembled into note-pad holders and sent off. I know they'll get a kick out of them, esp the one with a gal winking through her glasses (all paper-cut) with: My nap is for YOUR safety. Again, wish I could post them, but it seems like such a process on here!!!!

Not much going on, so as Walks said, I don't usually post, but that grovelling remark?..I just couldn't resist.

Another sunny day, another day to water and baby our tomato plants; so glad we're home during these 2 weeks without rain, they'd be gonners by now. Why do we even grow them in town here when we're away for much of the time?! But I do love them fresh off the vine.

I cannot breathe! OMG, @Lynn49 I was trying to read both of those out loud to my guys and they could not understand a word I was saying.
I did try again after we ate our early dinner, but my speech wasn't any more decipherable.....a basket case, I laughed so much in between each comment....thanks for posting that.

LOL, @walkonby , I thought you had been familiar with Felix before...I still enjoy 'his' posts, the owner really does seem to share a brain with that bird!

Here's one more....if I find one particular one that is tooo hilarious (I thought I had it saved), I'll email it to you instead of posting here and disturbing the peace with Felix, LOL!!
