Guy that lives upstairs stopped by to say hi. He says why is it so cold in your room. I say probably because of my window fan (pointing to it) He says yeah I get that, but why is it blowing cold. My first thought was do you not know how fans work but instead I just said I don't know lol.

good day all! Jays win one back last night. That was a tall order against these hard hitting Yankees but they did it! Love to see a repeat this afternoon. Go jays Go!! Then the prayers start for the Preds.....yikes they just gotta take the next 2 games.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone. I had a great day with DH in London, we had lunch at the casino as they have really good food and yes we came home with winnings. So all in all it was a great day. Summer is here as it is another nice and sunny day here again.

@walkonby Yeah lol I know. I showed him my bluetooth speaker which was transmitting youtube from my tv across my room. He was like that's cool. On the way out he saw my tv and youtube was playing. It's been so beautiful at camp this weekend, just got back from a s'mores campfire at the kids' trailer, spent most of the day on their deck's living room basking in that glorious sunshine, then played euchre in (on?) their diningroom out there, and oh, if that's not THE best way to spend a Saturday, then I don't know what is! Our Grandson played "Mantracker" just about all day with his buddy and other kids in the park that we hardly saw him at all. Thunderstorms tonight which I just love listening to here....it's going to be tough to leave tomorrow, but a busy weekend to prepare for.
@avoncallingu , every time DH and I pass 'that" sign on the wayvto camp, we say, " dancing deer" ....hahaha, and when I hear Hotel California on "The Bridge" channel, I recall you turning the volume up at that guitar solo that I love...you really left behind some beautuful memories.

Spending the evening doing something I have NEVER done....drawing "to scale" graphs of where my furniture can fit in my new apartment. I had thought that maybe I could take with me my big square coffee table that matches the TV table but - sadly - not enough room. I am head scratching about a coffee table. I would lean toward a glass-topped one as that would make the space look bigger, but my brother's balance issues factor in here. Ah-ha! Purhaps a hassock with a tray on it- then if he should fall, he won't hurt himself.

Also, @Lynn49 , I am watching a program that I am sure you would adore!.......Elizabeth at 90 - a family remembrance. It's really just various members of the royal family watching family movies and newsreels. Ok- well, at least I am enjoying it.

I can just see you on that lovely deck all day!

I am going to a little girl's first birthday party tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
