@22hicks , they're staying at the Riu Palace, much like the Riu we all stayed at in Puerto Vallarta at Christmas one year. Oh, I always worry, Hicks! They have a zip-line and volcano walk booked, so if I was worried before, I'm internally hysterical now! She's zip-lined before in Cuba, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane here...alone!, which are the primary reasons I have white hair now! I told her thatbI started going grey when I was pregnant with her......it was a sign!!

It sounds like you had quite the adventure there and did some excellent, worthy work. But....you didn't walk on a volcano!!

Yup, around the top of the creator. Did a canopy walk, but didn't zip-line. Chickened out.
White hair - lol; I get it though. I'm sure she'll be just fine.

Ha-the white hair! My dad said he started going bald when I was born. My BrotherR asked my dad why he was bald. His response was because he had to give me and BrotherR each some hair when we were born. So when my mum got pregnant again, my BrotherR said, "OH NO Dad, our baby is going to be bald-you don't have any more hair to give it!"

It was good to be singing again but I actually lost my voice. Got to start doing a little more singing in the shower.

I made a list today of all the things I need to do. First on the list - "Write a list." 😄

It was only a 4X3 piece of paper but I filled both sides. But I feel better because all the things that keep flashing through my head a day then disappearing are now down in blue and white.

yes @Darth Penguin I sure did! The won ton wraps I bought came in a double pkg. So I made up 2 separate batches of broth and had at least 25 or so won tons in each batch.

Ugh nothing to do on the weekend don't get paid till this coming wednesday so it's like waiting to the cows come home!!

Damn mice keeping me up all night scratching in the floor. I bought steel wool and silicone caulking to close a tiny hole under my radiator. Also got this electric mouse trap. It kills mice in a second and keeps mice contained. I would get a no kill trap but i don't want to collect live mice in my tiny room all night lol, and then what just dump them in the driveway? Anyway rainy here but kinda warm, hope everyone is having a good day.

Oh nooooo.. @22hicks !! For me, the worst day of the year!! I absolutely loathe it! Loved it when the kiddies were young, but now, DH answers the door, I'm somewhere else making sure Jenny doesn't exhaust herself barking every time someone comes to the door in purchased, cheesy costumes. Dh is great, gushes over the little ones....ugh. Spare me.

Anyway I'm all done crawling on my hands and knees to close up that hole under my radiator. It took me like 1 1/2 hours and after I was done it was like I was in a sauna (and not a nice smelling one lol) Good thing this apple cider vinegar seems to be helping my pain because a week ago I couldn't even bend over. Today I was able to move around fairly freely. A week ago I wouldn't have been able to do the work I did today.

That's ok @Lynn49 . Different opinions makes the world more interesting.
They say that that's what makes horse races. Funny,'cause Halloween is my favourite day of the year; so talk about opposites.
