Thanks, making sure i'm ready. Doing laundry at aunts place monday to freshen up my dress pants and shirt.

Last night as I was walking home from Timmys I walked right past the bus terminal. I saw this guy take a last slurp of his Timmys coffee and throw the cup down on the ground. I actually said: yeah because that 10 step walk to the garabge can must be a real challenge. To which someone standing on the transit platform started laughing. Then the guy keeps walking and actually walks right past the garbage can on the transit platform. I then said you mean to tell me your path was gonna take you right past the garbage this whole time, yup seems about right. He ignored me the whole time lol.

Well, I got some antibiotic drops for my eyes, hoping they will ease both the pain and goo!
Unfortunately, our son is still pretty sick with his tummy bug - can't stay far away from a bathroom. I told him to go to a clinic if there is no significant improvement by tomorrow.
So no celebration for us, which is fine.

I miss eating, how stupid does that sound? I have no desire for anything, but make sure I have some crackers once in a while so I stop the rumbling in my stomach.
I made cup-a-soup at lunch, it had no flavour for me - husband tasted it and said it tasted like normal soup.Gah!

I'm going to have to come up with something for supper - even if it's take-out - because part of me feeling so stupid-weak is that I have no nutrients going in, except tea with honey and some juice.
This is not fun. I'm crabby about it.

Natalka .. hope your feeling a lot better very soon .. got keep something healthy in belly . No man can live of bread alone . So you can't live of crackers alone .. hope your son tummy bug soon goes and he feels a lot better very soon .. Take good care yourself sweetie

Don't watch wrestling but we caught up on some TV shows and laundry. Plus got his filing done so the desk isn't a mess anymore

Nat, I can so sympathize. I know how miserable you feel, and it's a good thing to postpone your celebration until you and Milan both feel yourselves again, then you can all enjoy the day.
Patience. At least your eyes will be better in a couple days, and then your cold will start to dissipate.

Well, I had 'real' food, and it tasted pretty darned good! Ate about 1/2 of what I normally would, and I know not all my taste is there, but it's what I wanted and it felt good. I had woken from a nap late afternoon, and the first thing that struck me was that I was hungry!
So that's a good thing, will help me regain strength.

I had ordered by phone, and husband went to pick up the food. When I unpacked it, there were four soup instead of two. My husband told me that the man who was there said I sounded so sick on the phone he hoped the extra soup would help me feel better. Aw, that was SO very nice. And it's this very awesome Gk. orzo soup, which I love!

cabbie, my Dad was no big sports guy - sometimes Hockey Night in Canada - but we used to always watch Stampede Wrestling on tv when I was a kid!
