Nurse was just here for my checkup. All is the same - she heard a bit of a wheeze when she listened to my front, but nothing at the back, so it's nothing to be concerned with. She had trouble hearing my breaths - I just have to explain that everyone does.

A very hot and muggy day, grrrr...

Cannot like that. Last item I read was that if you have the card you should get in touch with Capital One. Hope all works out ok for you!

hmmmm, not sure why Murphy's face came out so much darker in the scan of the photo, but anyhow, here is my sweetie on his recovery couch, donning his Christmas sweater to cover those awful looking stitches.
Sorry about that photo of the scar, I wanted to snap one so I would remember his ordeal clearly. it looks rather gruesome doesn't it?
I'll include the one where he turned his face on me....why do pets seem so much tinier after they have had a surgical trauma?
He reminds me of a wee baby.

Just got home from watching "The Book Club" with my DD..omg...laughed, cried...I can understand where you were coming from, @walkonby ....such a good movie and not what I thought it would be at all.
Of course.....oh. Nevermind, I don't want to put a spoiler in here, so I'll stop there.
@Natalka ...i truly enjoyed "The Help" and yes, absolutely would watch it again. I still want our DD to see "The Colour Purple"...I know she'll be going through a whole whack of emotions watching it.
@walkonby , awwwww...sweet Murphy. Those stitches are lovely!! They look clean, healthy..he's healing beautifully!!

I am back from my Vacation. Had a great time Just needs to rest my foot now
@walkonby I am so happy to read back a few post and learn that Murphy surgery was a success. Also glad that his recovery is going well . He is such a trooper his stitches looks clean and healthy. I am sure you can breathe more easily now that is over with. Happy Belated Anniversary to you and your DH you have a lots of Happy years together.

More on the Capital One situation from this morning’s papers. Just head shaking.

“Capital One said affected individuals will be notified through a “variety of channels.” Affected Canadians will also receive free credit monitoring and identity theft insurance.”

“Capital One said it could not provide information on several questions posed by The Canadian Press, including how many and which branded credit cards were affected and how many of those had their SIN compromised. The company said it was in the process of notifying impacted customers, but would not elaborate on how or when it would contact consumers.”
