hmmmm, not sure why Murphy's face came out so much darker in the scan of the photo, but anyhow, here is my sweetie on his recovery couch, donning his Christmas sweater to cover those awful looking stitches.
Sorry about that photo of the scar, I wanted to snap one so I would remember his ordeal clearly. it looks rather gruesome doesn't it?
I'll include the one where he turned his face on me....why do pets seem so much tinier after they have had a surgical trauma?
He reminds me of a wee baby.

Good morning friends!
Waiting for my appointment. Walked past a macho looking guy in the parking lot who was wiping tears from his eyes as he told someone on the phone that he had to find out if it is really cancer by the end of next week!!!
Reminders here that there are many folks who have much larger issues than any I face.

The week's responsibilities line up ahead. In what order do I tackle them?

It looks like rain here and has rained a bit, but not on me.

@Newfiescreech, sorry to hear about your back issues. And glad you are able to get out sea-glass hunting. Can't wait to see your next creations!

@walkonby- Congratulations on your anniversary! What were the colors of your attendants dresses? Did you get harvest gold and green Tupperware containers as gifts? I still have a couple of mine.

Thanks avon ..i see your still keeping very busy ..you got to slow down some sweetie . Yes ..been out couple times now getting some sea glass, sea shells and driftwood ..will start working on my craft projects again in September ..this is a project i finish few days ago lol

Reminds me of when I was a kid, we had no pets - someone did have goldfish for a while, though.
Those were the days when we were free-range kids, walking to and from school alone, could just go play in the neighborhood, etc. Then, there would be cats in yards or on the sidewalks or streets, and whenever I came across one I would stop to pet it, and sometimes bring it home. Mom always said no, and I would have to return the cat from where I found it. One time I did hide one in our attached garage, but she found it.

Guess I finally figured I could not bring them home, so when I had a cat come to me, I would park myself on someone's lawn and enjoy time playing with the cat.
However, that caused other problems - not getting to school on time, coming home for lunch late and, especially, being really late coming home after school.

Had to wait until I was 20, done university and living on my own to get cats. First thing I did before I bought a stereo and tv!

Well it's almost seven and I am hungry - time to wake up husband to help me with supper!

Another gorgeous day out there!! DH is off to a seniors' golf tournament so I'll be here left to my own devices/mischief...haven't decided, yet.

I just walked 1.8km!!! I needed ingredients for my tarts for a party on the island on Saturday, DH isn't home, DD suggested I take my walker and head over there!! Brat. So I did!! 1.8km!!!
