Rough night, but there were thunderstorms most of the night to listen to.
Kitty stayed hidden under the bed, so she was no help!

Am getting blood work done today, some time between 9 and 3, lol!

Milan was over for a visit last evening, so that was awesome.

yes!!!! I watched Don Lemon's interview with King James and colour me IMPRESSED!!! I had no idea how wonderful this guy is, I've trashed him for beating up on the Raptors year after year. That is on me....but no more.
Big respect for Lebron James. Keep doing what you are doing.
He deserves so much credit for staying focused on what kind of change will really help young kids to succeed and placing anything Trump says in the DUMP.

I had been busy with appointments after appointments for the last couple of days and doing some shopping deals that I now realized I did not check in here to see what’s everyone is busy doing. Lab tech just came to draw blood, two vials.
Just had lunch, and I am hoping for a nap soon.
The tech said it's really hot out, but I have kept the house closed with fans on so it's okay in here.

Managed to get to Chatham to see my mother-in-law. I haven't seen her since last fall.Her health has really declined. She does recognize her daughter but not her son-in-law and certainly not me. She speaks but really doesn't make any sense. Her mood conveys her needs, it seems. Dementia -such a terrible disease!

Well, I fixed up the ceremony this morning- and packed up everything I need, except for the ceremony. My brotherB has just got the super to let him in and has retrieved it so they will bring it down in the morning! OIY!

I am glad that you will get a good weekend in at the camp, Lynn. Fingers crossed for Dan's family.

There are tornado watches up for this area and LOTS of Thunder and rain depending on which side of town you are on.

I'm resting for a while before we head out for supper.

My 23 year old cousin (twice removed -or something) just bought herself a house. It's lovely! She's a hard-working and super-saving young woman! Really happy to see her so determined to move forward .

Must try to snooze a bit. And relax. It's funny, because it was 2 years ago almost exactly that I forgot my sandals at home and had to attend my sister-in-law's wedding in my running shoes!!! 😅

I messed up and am ticked off at myself.
Forgot all about the 4 day Metro AM bonus offer! I had intended to go Thurs, Fri today and tomorrow to redeem $10.00 ( 95 AM ) on each visit and earn back a whopping 50 BAM with each transaction.
Now I don't even want to bother going for the last 2 days of it.....lol.

Woo Hoo to our Jays for winning 2 games in a row!! Against the 3rd place ( A/L West ) Mariners of all teams? Borucki gets his first win!! Pillar is back!! Lets take all 4 games!!

Glad the next few days will be in the low twenties, because we will be in the thirties all next week. Bah!

Had an ok sleep, in fits and starts. Legs not working great so far...
Nurse comes today, never know what time so just have to be ready!

Nurse just left, and not great news. My heartrate is 38 by the finger thingee, 40 when the nurse did it manually. So it wasn't caused by that drug...
She will report it to the doctor, and we will see what course will be taken then.

Other vitals are fine.

Oh Dear, Natalka! Sending you supportive thoughts! I wish that you could get resolution to your health problems. But we're all here rooting for you!

Well, I have my little Tootie back, lying at the end of the couch.

I thought I was so prepared for everything in Chatham! Only thing I forgot was the ceremony!!! Oiy!

Thankfully, my brotherB was able to ask the super to let him into my apartment and brought it down this morning.

Everything went really well. Very nice group of friends and family.

I was so exhausted, that on the way home I was almost falling asleep. I stopped at the McDonald's outside London and texted my BrotherB. He was 45 minutes behind me, so I snoozer in my car while they caught up and then my sister-in-law drove me back to Kitchener and then I drove down to get Tootie. My friend made me supper while I rested. So I have been totally spoiled today!

A slow, un-planned week so I can get a bunch of things caught up, I hope!
