Happy Tuesday everyone! Wow that was some night with the Sens and the Leafs both getting their wins! So sad Calgary had a wonderful lead only to lose it in the end.
Sure hoping our Blue Jays can find the magic starting tonight to get some wins.

Yep, great wins by the Sens and Leafs, but did you see the mis-comunication in the Jays' fielding department when that fly-ball dropped out of the sky with no one there to catch it? At least, no one who actually wanted to catch it? Still some kinks to be ironed out, I think....so embarassing.

Today is dental-cleaning day, then off to Fabricland for a thing or two; it's a sunny day, heading up to +10 this afternoon, so pleasant enough for now.
@danger_dan....with all those sore-throats, I'm thinking you should see your doctor..maybe your tonsils are causing you that discomfort....do you still have them? Maaaayyybe not for long if you still do......

UGH! Again Canadian shipping has stopped me dead in my tracks!!
From a Toronto store, my on-line order for $10 worth of merchandise, will cost me $16.10 in shipping!!
I've shipped sewing patterns in padded envelopes for UNDER $6.00 several times and the items I ordered
are smaller and lighter!!
DAMN on-line companies that gouge potential customers!!
And yes, I did email them, that's for sure!

...I still have my tonsils...I've definitely thought about it...but it seemed every time I'd think about it, my tonsils miraculously calmed themselves down...I seriously need to think about it again and see the Doc.

@danger_dan , you def should get checked by a doc, in case you have an infection - tonsillitus can be a bugger.

In my early 20s, I kept getting recurrent instances - and the doc had said - next time, they are coming out. Hmmm, guess what? Never got tonsillitus again...

G'd evenin all! A lazy day today -- returned some bottles to the Beer Store for $ and opened up the sprinkler system for the season. Bring on the heat! I will take care of my plants!

Just going to sit down and watch a documentary called The Knowledge: The World's Toughest Taxi Test - it is about the London Cabbie test for black cabs ... looking forward to it!

So a very nice man at the place I wanted to place my order returned my email almost immediately and agreed that the shipping charge was outrageous and will work on that 'app' on the store's site. He suggested I phone in my order and get the correct quote which, he said should be about $3 rather than $16! He also suggested I register and wait for my $5 shipping coupon which I should receive in my email.
So all in all....a very nice experience!!
