    my DH pvrd the tree lighting in NYC!!! I didnt even know it was on tonight!!
    Wine...missing NYC....did I tell you all that when the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Centre I picked up a branch and we flew home with it in our luggage?! NEVER occurred to me that I shouldn't have! But anyway, I I filled clear Christmas ball ornaments with the twigs...I now have brown bits in mine, but I still just love it!

    Home from a fun evening with long time very good friends. Lots of laughs and "Food, glorious food!"
    @Lynn49 - we had a yule log for dessert- chocolate mousse with whipped cream and rolled up with raspberries on it. Delish! Beef stew (very much like stroganoff ), yummy strawberry, spinach salad, root vegetables and spaetzle. Many appetizers, and for those who were into it, wine or mixed drinks.

    I have a physio appointment early in the morning. Then back to my friend's to pack up my things and parcel up Tootie and back home. Choir practice tomorrow evening. I packed up my Christmas parcel for down in the States today, so I will have to mail it tomorrow.

    Good morning!

    A not-so-busy day today, wrapped some gifts yesterday, but today will be Christmas cards.

    I've come to realize that I can't do it all anymore. All the baking I used to do, making everyone's favourites....can't do that this year. One dessert for after dinner (yule log), a couple cookies/squares...I can't not make our DD's confetti roll with those mini coloured marshmallows, but with Wow butter, since GS has a nut allergy...mini cheesecake tarts...all with a lot of help from my Hubby! Or I'll be helping him.

    I also wanted to paint my Christmas cards again this year, but just can't. I did paint the gift tags, though...But.....everything will be fine!

    The hard part was finally coming to the realization that I have to slow down a little, that I'm not 40 anymore, hahaha!

    Good morning !!! I am off school today to do my right feet test of nuclear x ray .Had a appointement at 9:00 am and another one in 1:30 .Hope to have some results soon by my doctor because i am tired of being in pain.
