hiya gang....I was one of the ones NOT here this morning but I was not sleeping.
Very early shop at Sobeys and No Frills. Deals to be had and it was a top up shop as well.
Then once back here the cooking began.
Steak, onions and mushrooms again for the guys work meals, with mashed spuds and the remaining stir fry veggies from the other day.
Roasted a whole chicken in the Air Fryer as well.
Then I settled in to watch Charlize Theron in The Old Guard on Netflix. Decent enough flick.
@Lynn49 wind is a powerful thing isn't it? Was DH's bike damaged in the fall or did setting it back upright solve the issue? @avoncallingu ...decisions, decisions. All of this tech stuff is a cash drain no matter what we do. Best of luck!!
I should nap right now, then I'll be wide awake for viewing my Thursday night tv lineup. I wish shows would find another night to air their shows on....so frustrating when most of my fav's are on the same night, same times.
o.k I am out!!

Good day girls, @Natalka I am thinking that partial post last night was due to technical difficulties with your laptop?
Hoping you at least got some restful sleep afterwards.
What is it they say about the best laid plans?
Top aggravation last night as the very minute all my Thursday shows were about to start.....the rains came.....heavy rain.
So naturally the tv signal goes out.
Turns out wrist clenching does not make the signal come back any sooner, so I tried pushing ALL options on the remote, then swearing, pacing, the art of distraction which included going to the kitchen for food.
Recorded events naturally only partially recorded when the signal had returned much later. Grrrrrr!!!
However, this morning as I strolled up and down the path in the front and the deck in the back I was loving that all the flowers and veggies got a good soaking from that downpour, so thanks ( I guess ) to Mother Nature.
Enjoy the last work day of the week all!!

Good morning!
@Natalka , I'm also hoping you're ok and that, as Walks posted, technical problems kept you from posting.
@walkonby , isn't that always the way? It's raining, we're stuck indoors, so we'll watch TV, but noooo....the signal goes kablooey! I hope your shows are repeated.
Nothing on the docket today, it looks brilliant out there, so I may spend some time outside if it's not too humid.
Also, I'm thankful the drip plate on our Keurig can hold a cup of coffee when one forgets to put a cup under the spout.
Enjoy your day!!Last edited by Lynn49; Fri, Jul 17th, 2020 at 08:06 AM.

Oh gosh, how did that post get down to one letter after the paragraphs I typed? Darned gremlins!
I usually do wait until the post has gone through, but obviously I didn't...
I was quite nauseated yesterday, pretty woozy, lots of leg pain. Had to have husband get me up to use the walker, and guard me as I walked. So sad to go backwards!
Today was the same, but minus the nausea, which was good!
Hope you all had a great day, and that have a fab weekend!
