Oh, @GoJays , I hate those roundabouts! We have 2 on a redesigned road that we used to take to and from our home to camp, and like...what the h€all is the point!? Was a turning lane not good enough for ALL the traffic turning into a college there?! Worked fine all this time! I think it must be a money-grab by construction companies! Anyway, we take another route home and I still prefer it.

Rainy here too, so another day playing on my Cricut! Gosh darn it all....

It's been fun and all, but honestly, posts pop up about lost pets that hurt my heart, like how does anyone do that?!! 4 dogs, none lost here! And political threads pop up and annoy me because they're basically just trying to antagonize and start something....and enough with the "lets thank our nurses, teachers," etc...I've met good and bad and I think they get the idea by now that they're thanked. And the best? People who post happy birthday to celebrities!!! I just want to post under them, "Gosh I hope they see this!" HAHAHAHA!!

I may check in on my Cricut thread, but probably not.

I have more fun things to do in real life, and I do have to purge things I've been holding on to for far too long...I feel it'll be a release...my parents' things will be the toughest, but someone once said that it's not getting rid of stuff, as someone else getting enjoyment out of them, giving them new life. It'll mean a trip to Richies or something like that in the big city for some things, but others just marketplace or ebay...
It's time not wasted.

WHEW! Perhaps this calls for a nice glass of wine although it is early...at camp? Any time is wine-o'clock, but not here for me.

Hubby's playing Paul Simon's Graceland music and reading...I think I'll pick up my "The Noticer Returns" and relax, too.

Congratulations!!! @Lynn49 for ditching FB.
I never really understood the point of it and sc is enough social interaction for me anyways.

Our Jays didn't just lose 7-1 this afternoon, but a terrible decision on the part of pitcher Berucki to bean Kevin Keirmaier directly in the back in the bottom of the 8th inning came at a cost.
Blue jays fans understood why he did it.
Of course the umps ejected him, he'll get a suspension too ( just like they did to Manoah ).

and Kevin Keirmaier??

Oh he'll continue on with his MLB career with no repercussions at all for stealing Alejandro Kirk's card from the home plate dirt area in Monday's game. There is no official penalty for being a huge POS I guess.
Don't you worry Kevin....chickens come home to roost eventually.....watch your back.

Good morning, Ladies!

What a wind overnight and continuing! It doesnt feel particularly cold out, but it does feel like something wicked this way comes!

@cath007 , newfiescreech and I emailed a few times, but those dropped off eventually; she's always been so busy with work, volunteering with her group for their firefighter Hubby's, kids, life...it was so nice having her here, though. I'm still in touch with Hicks, Silk, and they're doing well...often people fly in and out of here, checking in, but then there's life.....

Dinner at the kids' this evening, then they're off to a resort just south of here, meeting up with another couple for a relaxing few days. Well have our Grandson until we send him off to school on Monday.

Enjoy the day, don't get blown away out there!

Just fyi....if anyone enjoys books, I just received my books from thriftbooks.com, in Florida.
2 books that would have cost me well over $50 EACH at Chapters,...$18USD, including shipping!
They're used but in perfect condition.
