Happy Wednesday said no one ever....lol. Good morning. Tuesday? Now THAT was a day to remember! We took my sister out for dinner to celebrate her milestone birthday ( I'll not mention the number, but she is way older than me.....lol ) The custom photo cake I ordered and brought to the restaurant was to die for! Very personalized and the message was quite poignant. None of this blasé Happy Birthday stuff because she is very special to me. To say she loved it was an understatement. Summerlicious was going on where we ate and the menu was very satisfying. We will do this again next year!

Hello everyone. Tell me this story isn't fun! Last night we watched our ( pathetic ) Blue Jays take the 2nd of 3 games to win the series against the SF Giants. There are 2 pitchers for the SF team, identical twins. One throws left ( Taylor Rogers ) while his brother ( Tyler Rogers ) throws right with a nasty below the knee release. They both pitched one inning in the game. Weird huh?

Good sunny Saturday morning to everyone.

Just finishing up my free iced coffee from Mc D and my super loaded oatmeal while the bedding is washing. I might try to sneak in a quick garden watering before it gets too hot and the full sun hits it.

Just a day of cleaning as I was out of commission yesterday and then off to the gym when Dh gets home. Leg day

Btw, has anyone heard from Skippy? I hope all is well

Another Monday has reared it's ugly head for the guys workweek. I won't have to cook any meals for them till maybe Thursday as last night DH went on a spaghetti with meat sauce making adventure. There are times I wonder if he thinks he is cooking for a platoon? ha ha .

That's o.k. I watched and was overjoyed when Teoscar Hernandez won! Remember when Teoscar was a Blue Jay? That's o.k. I do.
I also remember how adorable his cardboard cut out was ( he was 5 in the photo ) during an MLB contest within the pandemic. No amount of me
searching images has uncovered this pic, did I dream it?



Some of you must surely recall when Vlad Jr. won the HR Derby last year?

Remember 16 years ago when his dad Vlad Sr. won it? That's o.k. I don't either! Baseball was barely on my radar when I worked FT.

Hello everyone! Just back from vacation in BC, everything went tickety boo until the flight home and the 6 hour mechanical delay. Should have been picked up from the airport around 11pm, finally managed to get home at 4am instead. Fun times.

skippity doo! It's the @GoJays back from her vacation! Welcome back. The place is the same as when you abandoned us....guffaw! Are you able to decompress a bit before returning to work? You know, a vacation from your vacation. I said vacation 3...oh no FOUR times, hope it doesn't have the same outcome as saying Beetlejuice 3x.
