don't worry @Lynn49 our Canadian Juniors pulled it off! My heart was tied in knots with them getting penalty after penalty all through period 1, however our goalie was stupendous stopping all the attempts.
In the 2nd period I was " hopeful " until Russia took a 2-1 lead, then....good grief once Russia made it 3-1, I turned the channel, heartbreak and me do not mix!!
I was recording it anyways, so when I flipped back it was 3-3 and you could've heard my jaw hit the floor!
Sorry gals, I know this is the weight loss thread, but WHAT A VICTORY for Canada!!!
And also anyone that watched the last 3 minutes....what drama!!!!

Gosh we're so much alike...I had to avert my eyes, play flip-channel just to keep my heart from pounding out of my chest and that goes not only for our Juniors, but for those 2 NFL games, too!!
I hear my DH flipping to that stupid awards show, just wishing he'd go back to golf (has he pvr'd it?) but he's likely lost in his book so probably no luck there. I'll just shut this door to block out the draaaaamaaa.

I am dragging my sorry a$$ back into this thread. My dad died suddenly in April of 2018. And I have gained 20 pounds since, his weight contributed I am sure to his early death at 71 so my 2020 goal is to lose the 20 pounds. I had my kids far too late to have them lose me at 71. Back to work Monday and lunch is ready. I also make a point to not use TTC so 10000 steps for me tomorrow.
Lets do this.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Welcome back @lilo0003 , so very sorry about your Dad's passing. Taking serious stock of how we lose our loved ones can be the perfect incentive for our own change. Lets make 2020 OUR best year so far.

@lilo003 so sorry about your dad passing. It’s always hard to loose a loved one . We will be here cheering you on and encouraging you also the way.
Well I guess watching the Golden Globe award last nigh had me craving for some sweet stuff .Still have lots of Chocolate in the house so I did indulge with a few. Finger cross today I watch my sweets intake and drink more water that’s my goal for today.
@Lynn49 congrats on loosing 41bs. I will be weighing every 2 weeks

Good Morning Everyone,
Right now my goal is just to eat like a normal person again. I have really been struggling with how I am feeling emotionally and there have been more bad days than good days lately. I did not notice at the time but realized recently how much this affected my eating. Not that I was necessarily eating horrible foods but for me everything was about quick, easy and no thought needed.
I know some will be like huh not horrible foods but I really relied on Hot Dogs, Bagels anything I grab and have on my plate with minimal effort. Yes, these are not the best foods but better than turning to chips, cookies and those things.
As well I eat most of my foods at work and by the end of the year my food choices were odd, literally some days I would bring a container of yogurt (did not even have it in me to portion out), whatever fruit or veg I could find and anything else that was quick grab and go. Not that I am one for a "proper" breakfast but most days there was no breakfast, no lunch, just whatever I could grab and throw in my bag. Also there were many days I just wasn't feeling what I brought and would live off tea all day.
So right now I am working on eating like a normal person again. Making real meals, planning real meals. I started on this last week and did really well but with that being said I was off work last week which made it easy. This week is my test, being back to work and trying to eat normal. I had planned to make a meal plan before I returned to work but that did not happen, I ran out of time so I am going in a bit blind but I still think I can make it work and will make a meal plan after we shop tomorrow.
As for exercise, right now my exercise is trying to clean my house from top to bottom. Over the last 2 weeks I have gone up and down the stairs in my house a ridiculous number of times, I have been hauling, moving and emptying large boxes, as well I have even been on my hands and knees scrubbing areas of my house. With this being said I know it is not real exercise but I will say muscles I did not know I had currently hurt.
Not quite on the same plans as everyone else but right now it is baby steps for me as I am really worried about trying to feeling better and be back at work so I am trying to not take on too much. So for now the goal is real meals, then I will work on healthier meals. At this time I just cannot add exercise to the mix, I just cannot do it right now but I am okay with this, in time it will come.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I’m not living how I look in the stomach area, and how some of my pants are feeling. Based on past experience, I know that my back pain might be because my abdominal muscles aren’t strong enough to support my spine properly. I’m 5’10” tall...this has happened before.
I’ve been working 11hr days between my 2 jobs. Our ds is 7.5yrs old, and our boy/girl twins are 4.5yrs old. I stretch and worked out some before my first daycare children arrived this morning. I’m going to try to continue doing this. I don’t want to over-do it and cause myself additional pain. I’m already in pain from the migraine that hasn’t broken in 2yrs, in addition to my chronic leg pain from an injury in 2007.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I got in a mini workout this afternoon while some children were napping. Twin boy did some of the exercises with me and he was my weights for my leg exercises. He weighs about 35lbs. I can feel it, in a good way. I’m trying not to overdo it.

Your DD is exactly right about quitting all sugar @coupon girl , I know from experience and I'm aching now addicted once again to it's evil powers! The light will come on for me once again and I'll go through the initial detox to reach that clear minded place of freedom! best of luck to you! Congrats on the removal of " most " of the chocolates in your house now.

Well, I was doing well until today on eating regular meals. Then today I got kicked out of my office, we had a girl go home sick and I ended up all over the building dealing with things and totally missed breakfast. The first meal I had was just now at 12:30 which was my lunch.
Okay this cannot become a pattern.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Glad to see this thread active!! My guy has gone Vegan. I have cut meat way out and join him for most meals but....... We went out for dinner last week (free at casino) and I asked if he minded if I ate meat and he says he doesn't so I had a real meat on a bun. (I can not stand the fake stuff) But he bought a new type of meatless meatballs he thinks I will like so I will try.
