Good Morning Everyone,
Rainy day here. Not sure what the plan is for today yet, again Mom had mentioned wanting to go out today and so something but when I asked her about it last night and she didn't have much to say so guess I will wait to see. So far there is no movement from her room but I can't say much as I slept in until just before 8.
Still trying to work through this work stuff.
I was hoping the rain would come later in the day as I was hoping to clean our BBQ. I went to light it for the first time last weekend to discover over the winter mice had build a nest in the BBQ. I got the nest out and burned off as much as I could last weekend but I wanted to pull the BBQ apart this weekend and clean it down with bleach this weekend. Oh well maybe next week as I probably won't have time after work this week.
I am a little over wild life right now. I finally think we have all the mouse droppings in the house cleaned up as they were behind the furniture which has now all be moved. We are pretty sure they are living in the walls as all of the complex are complaining about mice. I still need to replace the screen that the squirrel chewed through a couple weekend ago. Still cleaning out the BBQ from the mouse nest. Then on Friday I was sitting at my dinning room table doing some work when I hear a weird noise went to look and a squirrel was climbing across all 3 screens on the back of our house. It went from the Kitchen Window to the Back Door to the Dinning Room Window. Luckily this time it did not do any damage but I would like them to stay away from my screens.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I knew today was going to be rainy. So I did all the laundry yesterday and used the line to dry. That helped put me back on my frugal game.
The adventure continues. DH had a cycling accident on Thursday and damaged his elbow so has a cast from his fingers to his shoulder. Hopefully it's not on long. The accident was completely human/bike error. No cars involved.
I am going to Costco today. I know it will be brutal but with my work schedule I just can't get there during the weeek.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Hanging out more laundry today, got the yard looking a lot better, but a bit more work to go. Doing some tidying and posting a few things on kijiji too. Dinner is ribs and corn on the cob.

seems we are quite the group lately of broken fingers, arms, sore hips, food poisoning, deaths, divorce, unwelcome critters, house renos etc etc. Good grief. Wishing everyone a healthy, happy and frugal week.

I've been admitted to Estevan hospital due to severe lower right abdominal pain. A friend has done his best to take care of our kids. dh left at 11:30pm and I'm in the maternity ward because I need to pump and dump. I was given a low dose of morphine (never had morphine before), gravol, fluids, and broad spectrum IV antibiotics. I'm supposed to have an abdominal CT tomorrow, so I'm not allowed anything by mouth. I'm not sure why they currently have a CT booked, but not an ultrasound. They've already poked me 3 time in my right arm for blood work and they'll need to place an IV in the area in order to do the CT scan. I'm still in pain and my fever was 38.3, my normal is 36, I'm on my second dose of Tylenol. I have only told my brother and a couple of friends. We don't know what is going on, but it's not exclusively food poisoning.

@ Angela- Wishing you a quick recovery.
Rainy Monday here today. Good day to be stuck at work! My house is a dump so tonight is cleaning and laundry night. That's the price you pay when you go away for a fun weekend. I am ahead from the casino so will put extra on my credit card for a 20x the points splurge at SDM and use it to stock up/treat us to some other things. Will stock up on some grocery/house items. (I have been stocking up on toilet paper when the price is right)
I purchased 2 back packs from Under Armour on Wednesday morning. (oldest one needed one and bought one for youngest for back to school) It was on my porch Thursday afternoon! Quick service!
Yearly invoice for car and house insurance due this month. I put the money away monthly so no surprise but still sucks paying bills. Good part is the PC Points I will receive.
Will be digging in the freezer tonight and planning the meals for the rest of the week (tonight I am thinking Chinese since I am cleaning/laundry tonight and don't want to add another chore to the list
)
