I just wanted to point out that Amex Gift Cards has a new August 25 policy pertaining to replacement cards. The post is going under FINANCE so if you have any Amex gc about to expire this month, check out the post.

The reason I even know about this item is that I am looking at the gift card site, having had a chance to use an Amex gift card via a mall promo for email subscribers. There's a message about the new policy on the website.

Thanks for posting this. I would never have found this on page 34 bottom right hand corner if you didn't mention this.
The store personnel and cashier had no clue about it and I was there on Wednesday Sept 15th with one more day to go on this offer. They hid a similar offer last year and did it again. I will look at 4-6 page flyers but when you get 10+ pages forget it with all those other flyers to look at every week. Reminder to check in 2 week to make sure the rewards show up. Thank you to all those people who read the lengthy flyers and point out these deals.

@yadayada So glad you found about the gift card deal! What is noteworthy that this promo is alike the AirMiles offers at Sobeys on lottery-rare events as program does not usually allow points on such purchases. The current CT flyer had actually a birthday flyer plus the regular flyer . One of them was Thursday to Thursday, again not the usual Friday to Thursday situation. I or another SCer had posted one earlier CTM offer on gift cards-it was around June or early July?

When I worked at Chapters Indigo, staff had to glance at the offers binder regularly and initial having seen the promotions. There were always a few customers who were aware of the promos and would ask the nearest staffer about them esp. if a hot title was on new release. In case someone acting as a customer was actually a secret shopper...
