    Good morning!

Have bits and pieces of shopping to do over the next few days - hopefully picking up a ham today. Independent has Cook's ham for a really good price, sure hoping they have in stock, because they are the best ham to bake.

Enjoy what the day brings you!

I took the kids out for a walk yesterday morning. We took the double stroller. I found a hockey puck and some recyclables on the street.

I ran a couple errands this morning and sent some stuff from the post office. I’ll need to feed our kids an early supper because tonight is city wide registration. I’ll need to go early with our kids. I’ll take the double stroller to confine our twins and Dh will meet us there after work. I created an online account to register our son for swimming lessons, plus I’ll be in line. Whenever I get the class we need, then I’ll switch to the soccer line up. We are waiting to hear back about the potential for spring gymnastics class for our twins.

Not in our city. Most groups participate in City Wide Registration. It is technically open from 5:30-8:30pm, one day per season. There are some things that you can register for online, like swimming. You can also register for swimming in person. I have heard bad things about swimming registration. Everyone else lines up outside the multipurpose room until the doors open, then rush to find the table for their registration. Most things are cash or cheque only. Fortunately gymnastics and some other things choose not to do registration at the same time, but you still have to line up and register in person.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Looks like a light shopping week here which is nice for a change. Mom is going to do the shopping after her specialist appointment since I am working out of town which means getting home later as my commute is about 30 to 45 minutes from this location (not bad just a little late to go back out shopping).

Still not 100% sure about Easter, originally Mom and Step Mom were doing dinner at the same time so I turned down the invite to Dad's but now Mom has switched her to Brunch which we will go out for instead. Need to talk to her and see if we are doing anything after brunch.

Last night turned into one of those nights, I have so many plans for last night but just after getting home a headache started to set in I just could not shake and nothing seemed to help so I accomplished nothing last night. Not sure about tonight yet, my headache is still there but not nearly as bad so we will see how I feel when I get home. Pretty sure the weather is messing with me and my sinuses right now.

Well back to work, have a great day everyone

@coupon girl -yes, I intend to get more Hot Sox later as they are fun (so many prints) and they fit too! I made it to Waterdown after a stop to drop off my clothing bag at the hospital in Hamilton. Value Village in Waterdown has a decent short sleeve men's shirt section (based on the palm prints seen), women's dress section, newish looking women's pants and a sewing pattern section. Did not see shower curtain rings nor curtain glides. Totes in the handbag section-quite a good mix. Socks-mostly casual and white or light coloured. Treasure Hunt-did not find things on my list but I did think their photo frame selection was ok and I noticed some Gap sweaters and shirts in menswear (but if you look at women's tops, you'll see some v-necks in size medium tall (must be men's sizing, as Gap.com sells tall sizes only in the US). Noticed bright yellow Brasil Futbol shirts-might be fun for summer. Don't buy the St. Hubert's broth tetras-the dates show March 7, 2018-at the first checkout area. I'd like to return on a drier day and get some tops. Women's sock pairs in the back bins are $2 each and hosiery (Tights) are about $4 per pair.

For some reason Frozen's Olaf merchandise is on the shelves-some Olaf face decor lights and Olaf Softlites in home decor (there is on Hello Kitty Softlite, a Minion one, a few Thomas the Tank ones-no luck spotting any Circo nightlights), toys had a Frozen Alpine Playland set and some other random things. There is a Babycakes pancake maker (box looks worn or is return) plus there is one Babycakes multi-unit (think its for cake pops and waffles and pancakes). Noticed a Coca Cola frozen beverage maker-a more angular blender pitcher on the Coca Cola blender base.

At least the Treasure Hunt's flooring is intact (in the 1/3 of the store that is open/other 2/3s is off-limits and mostly empty except for some heavier items. Just needs a good vacuuming and pick stuff off the floor session. *BTW, the store is closed next Mon & Tues due to filming-it will reopen on Wed.*

When I took the bus to return to Aldershot GO, the bus went across the street to Walmart (bus goes beside then behind Staples to stop on west-side of Walmart for passengers) and I noticed Pizzaville and Cobs Bread and saw the Clappison Corners sign, so I knew all the big box stores (plus Cdn Tire, No Frills, etc) were there. I am somewhat familiar with part of downtown Waterdown and the Hamilton St N area but the rest of the town was a big blank until I took the counter-clockwise route bus and saw where the high school and Y are located plus Fortinos etc.

Was surprised to find L'Express, Toronto's French-language paper in the hospital lobby! The only place that used to carry it was the languages floor of Central Branch of HPL but that stopped several years ago.

At Jackson Square, I noticed the food court's washrooms are behind construction hoarding. Hmm, inconvenient. Some effort has been made to bring brighter and newer stores to the mall-PAM coffee is near the King and James entrance as is Freshii.
Has mall management changed? The mall directory map signs referenced REAL Properties, not Yale (unless that is simply a rebranding of the current management).
