thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.

I may have sold my one double stroller.. and I ahve a back up I was given.. I may sell that as well.
bought the family that took my youngest on the trip a bottle of white... - used a airmile offer.... for shop the block. not sure If I will get it or not... so will do a extra one just in case.
did staples today... tax program.. filing stuff and a few other things I needed... 77.00 spent...
then metro - got extra airmiles there... and found my youngests veggie burgers for a very good price.
rexall... was not fond of the store.. it was a bit junky.. but got vim for co 51...

I have 6 of the janes coupons, I may try and trade them....

I went to NF today. I spent $103.xx oop. $7.50 in coupons, earned 16,400pts, $3.50 CO51 and $2 Caddle. I spoke with the guy in the produce department and asked why all of the bananas were on sale for $0.38/lb. He said that they lower prices on things to try to compete with Walmart. I’d like to go back for a couple more deals. The strawberries didn’t look very good. I printed some more coupons for a chocolate deal, as I only had 2 coupons with me. M&Ms $2.97 - $0.75 coupon - $0.75 CO51 = $1.47 for potty training chocolate.

It was an interesting shopping day today. I initially took DD1 to Toys R Us where they were hosting a Colleggtibles giveaway. DD1 wanted one for Christmas, but I don't think she realized that once it hatched, the egg baby was just an expensive stuffed animal. We rushed out, but with the eating and napping schedule of the baby, plus morning laundry, we were 15 minutes late. After lining up, they ran out of the eggs just as we got to the table. The mum in front took the last two for her girls. DD1 has been looking forward to this trip all week. Thank goodness she wasn't more disappointed.

We left within half an hour to the grocery store. Along with groceries, I found a birthday present for myself for next month. There was a bottle of Garnier Ombrelle SPF 60 for $1.94 in clearance, expiring at the end of next year. I also found some lovely candles that smell of grapefruit and ginger for $0.94. I picked up two candles for my sister's MIL. Typically a +$30 gift for $2.12!

@Ciel: On the bottom of my receipt, it says JOE25 will get you 25% off at JoeFresh.com, including clearance merchandise.

Today, I came down to breakfast in horror that DH had swept the floor in the dining room. After the departure of our unwelcome mouse guest, he swept up mouse droppings with the broom and dustpan. I hid them to disinfect this morning. DH found them before I was able to disinfect and used it all around DD2's chair. I nearly died. I spent the morning disinfecting the dining room and the entire basement.

Tomorrow, I hope to stop in at Metro to cash in some AM, but would like to do some decluttering of the kitchen.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Got up this morning and made myself waffles for breakfast, normally wouldn't when it is just me home but decided hey what the heck. Tried a new recipe, not sure what I think yet, will leave leftovers in the fridge for Mom to try.

Well I made the waffles I cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher and re loaded as well did all of the hand dishes and when I was done waffles did all of those dishes too. Nice clean kitchen which I am going to go mess up again.

Found some apples that need to be used up so I am going to make an apple cake.

Spent the last half an hour looking for recipes online to use up some peppers, not sure how but we have a ton of bell peppers in fridge. This is an item we normally keep on hand but honestly it makes me laugh as Mom is always the one wondering if we have them but almost every time I discuss making a dish with them I get an I don't feel like peppers. So now I just make dishes using them or mix them in with our veggies for dinner. She hasn't said anything not sure if it that she doesn't care or that we had a conversation about her not vetoing my dishes when I am cooking. Used to drive me insane I would have a plan for dinner and then she would ask what is for dinner and she would say she doesn't feel like that which usually lead to take out but since we are limiting our take out we need to stick to the plan.

Trying to find some new recipes to try as I feel like we are stuck in a foot rut. We just keep cycling through the same dishes over and over again.

Also need to go through the fridge today and see if there is anything besides the peppers we need to use up.

Have a great day everyone, my kitchen is calling me

Not a bad day here, Kitchen is still clean (always a bonus as I feel like every time I get it cleaned it is time to cook again).

I made the Apple cake which is cooled and put away, think I will take some to work tomorrow to share with others.

I was going to make Apple Pancakes to put in the fridge to use up some more apples, still have 4 to use, but I did not get those done oh well.

I found a recipe for a Mexican Barely Casserole which is great as Mom needed barely but was not sure what kind she needed so she bought 2 different kinds so we have 2 bags to use up. As well it called for 2 pepper which was great as some how we have 7 peppers in the fridge. There was 1 I needed to throw out but used up 2 more leaving us with 4 left.

    I also cleaned the bathroom.

I did not get as much cooking done as I had hoped but honestly really did not have a plan but I am okay with it. I really wanted to try to rest and relax this weekend which I think I accomplished. For the first time in months I started a new crochet project and did get a chance to do some cooking today so I am happy.

Thinking I might talk to Mom about trying to do some cooking next weekend since we both have 3 days off. If she goes for it I will try to create a plan this week. Also need to make a plan for the week as I am working out of town except for tomorrow which means I am home much later as I need to work till 4 plus then commute home so I need to have a dinner plan so we do not turn to take out.

Hope everyone is having a great day
