Discovered with my appointement at caisse desjardins that i have no insurance life with my money there but it would be cheaper to go with desjardins than being with industrielle alliance....we cannot trust anyone those days ..grr...placements at desjardins would be like 2% so I am thinking on going to disnat and buy royale actions securised will see ...decisions ..decisions...year of critical decisions for me and that fear me

Dentist will probably wait after the hollidays because i am not feeling good those day...I will have to talk about this with my counsellor witch I hope should be understanding because I took more hours than I should...hope to meet my deadlines I fixed to me but I dont make hope that suck

Morning! We woke up to lots of snow!! What a way to start the weekend! Oh well. DS works Sat and Sun during the day then has a hockey game both days around 7pm at an arena about 30 mins away so not bad.

Now that I got my baking program items for Monday I was doing math in my head to make sure I had enough. On sale was dairyland butter for $2.97.

Hey I saw some of those baking pan sets that I got on Black Friday today and some guy was looking at single pans and racks. I said i don’t know if they are still on sale but it’s bonus. He saw me at the till and said they were $10 each like 9.97$ so if you guys come across them at your Walmart see if you can get the same deal. I spent 46$ on the baking program.

I bought mini donuts on sale the day old stuff for 94cents each on my own stuff. For about 2.88$ saved 0.94$ for 3.

I woke up really early (12:30am) time to go back to sleep.

I’m teaching out of town today. During first period I found out from my intern (for the day) that she just got the senior teaching contract that I interviewed for. She doesn’t know that I interviewed for it too. She was offered it on Wednesday. I’m disappointed...

I’m making a game plan. Applying for temporary teaching contracts in our school division. There are also a couple of education training courses that would be good to take. I’ll have to see when/how I can access these resources. I’ll try to make the best of it.

ok, on to tea number 2 of the day. prob going to be a 3 tea day.

did a teacher lead craft today. i much prefer child led. but they turned out cute and parents will love it. so yea.

if youngest is done early.. and i am .. then i will head to town and get 3 stops done. i really, really really want to . but if i cannot then i cannot .

i have a busy but very very productive weekend planned . lots should get done and it will be nice for some forward momentum

Chocolate chip shortbread

1 3/4 all purpose flour
1/2 cup confectioners sugar(icing sugar)
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, cut up
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325F. Butter two 9 inch springform pans. Sift the flour, cornstarch, icing sugar, and salt into a large bowl. Use a pastry blender to cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in chocolate chips. Firmly press the mixture evenly into the prepared pans to form smooth, even layers. Bake for 15-20mins or until golden, rotating the pans halfway through for even baking. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan. Loosen and remove the springform sides. Let cool completely. Cut each into sixteen wedges. Makes 32 cookies. Prep: 20mins + 30 mins to set. Keeps 5 days.

Did some running around on my lunch. Needed to go to Post office for work...30 min wait but $15 in PC Pts for me in the end so worth it.

Needed lunch and a Subway GC for DS. So got myself a free steak and cheese 6 inch for free for buying the GC ( $7 something plus tax saved!)

Went to RCSS to get frozen veggies (shelf picked over and didn't really feel like going home to put away) so will try going early one morning this weekend. Did get a sleep tank top for $3.94 and received 800 PC pts from insiders subscription And 2 bags of fancy healthy chips from the Health section for .94 each (they always reduce extra stock- expire in April 2020 so will probably grab more this weekend and tuck them away)

Used the Foodland GC I bought yesterday for the office lottery tickets. Happy it works no problem. Pretty sure I will buy a bunch more for this. (Free airmiles for me for doing it )

I went to visit my older brother today ,I took him and his wife a few small xmas presents .It was a nice visit ,then my dear sister-in-law wanted to go to rexall for a few items so I stayed with my brother for an hour
