I do valentines mostly for my kids. It's a good way to occupy our time with fun activities (arts and crafts, baking, decorating the house) With three kids under 5, I need to keep them busy somehow!

Me too! We bake cupcakes and make homemade cards.

My plan

1.Eat chocolate if I get any
2.gush and sniff roses if any arrive
3.lol at any dirty cards I get
4.log into lol cheezeburger cats and stay there till it passes ( most likely)

We have Jets tickets that day, so that's our plan. If we do do a dinner, it's usually earlier in the day, like 3pm when restaurants arent so crazy. or we cook something at home. no gifts or anything usually.

We have Jets tickets too. Probably end up having a classy dinner in Cityplace food court hahahah

lol, my husband had wisdom teeth out on Valentines day too many years back.

Supper together tonight - our fave place to get Chinese takeout is closed today, so we got food yesterday, and there's more than enough left for today!
Dessert will be a decadent chocolate cake with almond chocolate frosting.

BF just sent me a dozen purple roses to my work...I nearly fainted when the courier said my name haha Know I don't know what he has up his sleeve....I guess we will see tonight!

We don't do valentines at our place. The first year DH and I were dating, I had told him that I didn't want to do anything for the day. He said okay and I thought that was that. Feb. 13th he calls me up around 9pm after he finished work and told me that one of his coworkers had psyched him out and tried to convince him that I was playing a game or being manipulative or something and actually WANTED cards, flowers, chocolates, etc. etc.! The poor guy was sweating bullets and was calling to make sure that I was really okay with getting nothing

lol that is awsome!!! me n hubby dont do vday eather well at least not the buying gifts going out whole thing.... no point just doing lovey things one day a year
