@Ciel21 My awesome score of the weekend was a like new winter coat on the freebie site. It had the two way zip which I love, and a hood. I had started looking for something as my coat is too snug so I am wearing an old one that has seen better days. I did not see a lot in Joe Fresh, or at ,east not something that seemed warm enough.

    Good Morning Everyone,
It was a chill on the couch kind of day yesterday. Spent most of the day curled up in my blanket watching ER on Prime.

I did get dinner made, I have now used up all of the old mushrooms and the leftover mashed potatoes. We have used up most of the randomness n the fridge now, just have a little bit of rice I need to find a use for.

I started to edit some videos yesterday, trying to get back into my old groove. I have to admit right now work is just so overwhelming that it is hard to get much done during the week outside of work. But I know me and I need to shift my focus or else work will take over.

Lots to get done today, already marked a few things off the work to-do-list, start on a couple house things. Still need to figure out dinner, not sure on that one yet. I was going to make Ground Chicken Sweet Potato Chili but not feeling that now. We will see how I feel as the day goes on.

    Have a great Monday everyone.

Morning! Nice sunny start to the day!

I started work early and will shut down accordingly and head to Costco. My coffee is on sale starting today

I guess the casino is dead. They decided now they will have promos and offered an up to $500 free slot play. You have to go to put your card in the machine and see what you get and use it same day. Maybe a free dinner tonight. And bring a free meal home for the kids.

Just cleaning out the fridge and getting the garbage ready for tomorrow. Counted and bagged 50 empty beer cans (DS and friends) $5 for my "not sure what I'm saving up for fund"

@lilo0003 What a score-free winter coat! Way to go!

I too did not find a coat on the Joe Fresh site. Went ahead and ordered one sleep pant, a men's Henley shirt for fall wear (sleeves! am guessing that medium will fit me) and two baby items 2 for $10 (sorry, Taco Bell was not there!). Redeemed my 20000 PC Opt pts and paid $33 and change for order.

Ordered a new camisole top with shelf bra at the Bay (since my store does not have it in stock in black) and one clearance baby top ($10 for long-sleeve top to add to my bag of baby clothes).

Hello people of this thread! Another one of those supposed to be fall yet summer like weather days. Bonus I did smell the fall fragrance of rotting leaves, thanks to the rain last night!
IMO the latest incarnation of roll up the rim leaves much to be desired. As although everyone wins, 5 tim points seems to be the least which is squat(I believe last time it was 10 which is doubly better than squat).
From reading the thread it would appear that a sharp eye, good timing and unadvertised items all in one are the best! Take a bow!
I was all happy that I had a $1.00 coupon for Bold N Bake crackers @ $2.00 this week at No Frills. I was pleased as punch when I found them on the shelf for $1.25! Tried them at home and didn't like them but hey only out 25 cents! I remember when you could get a bag of chips for 10 cents! and Halloween candy wasn't so minuscule but I digress.
Took my cat out for fresh air and sun, then managed to whack my foot into the stairs which jolted my framework. Plan for the rest of the week is to recover from that.Hopefully sooner than later!
Keep your woolies close as the temps are gonna drop.
    Blessings to you and yours!
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

@Skippy Can you tell my age when I tell you that the single serve Hostess chips at convenience stores used to be 25 cents then 35 cents? I was in sixth grade for the 35 cents bags to be the norm (our class was selling the chips to younger grades as we were the lunch monitors while teachers went to lounge for their mealtime)?

25 cents is an incentive to sample a product!

The Universe seems to be giving me a bit of battery luck: my flashlight refused to stay on during walk home last night. I had tested the cells near end of August/early Sept and all seemed ok. Today I recalled I might have some extra AAAs in storage basket in my room (not in the area where the extra 9V and AAs reside). Yay-I had exactly 3 AAAs, which are required by my bright little LED unit. Perfect! Now I will have to take inventory and stock up on batteries. I might need C's for Mom's alarm clock but the clock might be the issue, not the battery.

Made the donation of personal care items at grocery store, got a pop at Dollar Store, cashed in 40 cents of containers and got one more $200 prepaid Visa (Vanilla, so another website to visit despite People's Trust running the prepaid show in Canada) card. Walked by a dime in parking lot (a couple were too near me) but at the other side of lot, I spotted a quarter and picked it up.

Nordstrom.ca fans-if you are part of The Nordy Club, today is the last day to earn 3X the points on your purchase!

Missing key search-I have yet to find it but I will keep looking this week.
