    Good Morning Everyone,
Feeling better today, got a great night of sleep last night, such a deep sleep I could not tell it was alarming going off this morning. Feeling good and well rested today which is nice.

They were unable to finish our basement yesterday it took them longer than expected to get the drywall down so they will be back today to remove the studs. Good new is their no sign of water damage in the pantry but there was some mold on a baseboard. Now the main room where it flooded was another story, they found a lot of water still present behind the wall and sounds like our damage is worse than other units. He also believes ours has been leaking possible for years but was saying in the wall and only this year did it flood the basement.

He also found evidence that we have had mice issues, he found a couple of nests. Fingers crossed the mice are gone.

Now for the now so good news, it now sounds like they will fix our damage without going through insurance but it will not be fixed until next year. We are being told we need to leave the walls open and exposed until next May or June to make sure there is no flood during the spring thaw or rainy spring season. So this means we are going to have to totally rearrange our basement to make it workable until next year. For the most part I think we can make it work the issues is going to be what do we do with the stuff on the main floor that should be in the basement but is living in our dining room well they work on the basement.

This will be my project for the weekend is to get into the basement, give it a good clean, even though the contractor said he cleaned up there is a lot of drywall dust still on the floor and being tracked upstairs, so heavy duty cleaning is needed. Then I need to get into the basement move stuff around so we have full access to our freezer and pantry as right now most of the pantry items are in bins as we had to move the shelves.

Not what I had planned for this weekend but sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches. I was not expecting that we need to leave the basement walls exposed for over 6 months meaning we cannot fully put our basement back together.

    Have a great Thursday everyone.

As you know, we drink a lot of milk each week. I found this deal that would give us free half and half with the purchase, so I’m trying to figure out what I could use the half & half for.

@Angela273 we always keep half & half on hand and mostly use it for cooking.

We mostly use it in Soup/Stews and to make Sauces. Can also be used to make drink like homemade Hot Chocolate.

Good morning everyone and happy friday!!!! Yes TGIF because I had enough in my plate this week......Dentist exam and cleaning went worse than I as expected...2 more teeths to be removed.... And my dentist dont do the complicated cases so I will have to go to a specialist in another city again.I have another appointement in 1 and 1 week month with the dentiste to see my dental routine. And after in december for the first teeth decay. The sort of small victory to me is that I dont need a roota canal in my broken teeth below..it is just a chips And I will not have a dental appareil in below all my tooth decays are still treatableI changed and lowered my insurance life and took the information to to some investiment there...I am still in thinking...
I am working on another great trade in here
    Alright have a wonderful day!!!

Good morning! Let's find the Fri-Yay on this Friday! Trip to at least one grocery store and maybe a short pop-in to Value Village to see if any office supplies or craft stuff in Housewares tempt me are on my agenda. Still cool here in Ancaster but Ms Sunshine could increase the heat/humidity in an hour's time.

Glad to have received the community paper bundle yesterday afternoon-most grocery flyers were included!
Aw, Giant Tiger has the 5pk yard waste bags for $2.50! Just stocked up at Fortinos but maybe I should buy some more at GT.
Laundered, dried and ironed bedsheets and pillowcase-so pleasant for afternoon nap! Laundered a few other small items too.
Could not stop eating Mom's stuffed peppers or a lot of bacon strips with bread yesterday. Need to eat lighter today and get some juice blends or lemonade. The apple cider was ok but I need something else chilled and in the fridge.

Finished checking the digital flyers (where some extra deals can be found).

If anyone is wanting a Longos shopping trolley, the Ancaster store had 2 in stock last week (it's been at least a year since I've seen any in the store). New flyer indicates you can score 250 Thank You Rewards points for buying one this week! You are likely to see the same deal online as well. A couple other store totes or bags also have TYR pts attached to them this week.

Will post three gift card offers that I saw. You never known when the right gift card deal lands...

    TGIF!

I had the day off yesterday. Had time to kill out of town so went in a Talize and found a like new Instant Pot for $12.99. Decided to get it as I can sell for $15 if I don't like/use. Well cashier said it was 50% off house stuff so it was $6.50 plus tax! What a steal!!

Used the 5000 pc pt offer when you buy any beauty item at. Bought a sheet mask for $1.99 and received 5000 pc pts.

Off to make some breakfast and tidy the kitchen.
