Thank you @cath007 for starting the new thread

Yes I am looking forward to more day light . Also definitely looking forward for gardening season . I already started a few seeds indoors.

Also hoping to find the new tear pads coupons before the cycle is over. And try not to do too much food waste.

    Good morning all

Will be catching up on my cleaning today and laundry so I am free on the weekend

I was not happy to pay $6.99 for the small package of 3 Romaine lettuce yesterday at RCSS .

@flemeth , lettuce prices are insane. I looked at them yesterday, the cheapest I found for Romaine was a 2-pack for $3.49. I am not a fan of iceberg but look at the price just out curiosity and it was $4.29/head.

    Loving the longer daylight

I am so happy I grabbed that romaine on the weekend when I was away- I think it was the price from the sale the week earlier- they must have had too much stock. The one week when the prices were crazy I just bought one head of romaine for sandwiches/tacos.
Our fridge is getting empty but I'm happy that we are using up all our fresh fruit and veggies. Going away for the weekend so won't shop till Monday.

We woke up to snow today. Nice to know we are at the tail end and soon will have the nice weather

@coupon girl , hope you feel better soon

This is one reason I do love Grocery Pick up, for those times you just do not/cannot go into the store.

The manager I am working with right now was making fun of me, I asked him what time his training was supposed to be over and I quote "I am being lazy today, I do not have the ambition to go in so I am placing a grocery pick up order"

I love to grocery shop but some weeks with my schedule by the end of the week I just don't have grocery shopping in me. Wal-Mart pick up is amazing. Or what I might do is if I have to go to multiple store I will pick-up at Wal-Mart and go into the stores that do not offer pick-up.

Goal is the same….try to save $$$ at the grocery store . Hopefully I can use coupons but they are virtually impossible to get or find for anything plant based

Going to try to stick to the budget like I did last month (actually 3C under! Woo hoo). Looks like I can avoid shopping until mid week next week with the exception of coffee creamer.

Busy work day today and Saturday so not a lot of time to shop and get in trouble .

    Have a great Friday

I found plant based eating cheap if you don't eat the processed fake stuff they sell. That stuff I find so expensive and have way too many ingredients in them. Veggies/tofu in the air fryer is awesome!

@harbie do you have stores close to you that participate in FlashFood?

I have a family member who is vegan and eats plant based and in our area there is a lot of plant based foods posted. It is short dated but no different than buying items with 30% or 50% off stickers.
