TGIF!!! BRRRR!!!
Office day for me so had to face the cold.
Guess the casino is trying to lure us. Have $50 slot play to use by Sunday. They sent an email yesterday with a bonus $75 slot play for Friday or Saturday.
Think tomorrow will take a drive for free breakfast and use the $125 slot playIf I win nothing is was an outing and a meal. Works for me for low spend February
Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning,
This week has been a busy one, I have been working with a new staff member but also trying to get lots of house stuff done.
I went to Dollarama and Walmart on Tuesday after work to get some cleaning supplies for my deep cleaning projects.
I decided before the bad weather came in Wednesday night to go to Costco. Costco turned out to be a much larger shop than I was expecting but I think I did well, I did spend more than I planned but what I grabbed was on sale or clearance and we won't buy more for months.
I was supposed to run out Thursday night after work but it looked like bad weather was coming in, which it did, so I ran out earlier in the day to drop off something and went into a different Dollarama. I went into this Dollarama because the Dollarama I normally shop at was out of Microfiber clothes, this one had completely different products and their home/organizing section was much larger. Grab a few things there.
I was also able to take advantage of RCSS having the Amazon Fire Sticks on sale. We do not have a smart TV, we are able to get some apps through our service provider but they choose what ones will be added and you cannot add ones yourself. Recently Mom has found some things she wants to watch but we would have to hook a laptop up to the TV, which is easy enough to do but hard if you need to be working on your laptop. So this will allow us to watch these shows, plus I think this will be easier for Mom to use/navigate.
Today is a work-from-home day so I am doing all of the work things but also have laundry going and am currently deep cleaning the Dishwasher. I should have deep cleaned the Washer before I did laundry but oh well, I did not have that in me at 6 am this morning when I started the laundry.
Happy Friday2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Went to Costco with DH this a.m. Pretty bad when that counts as a date morning-lol. They had mint flavoured chocolate truffles that were to die for-avoid them if you don't want to gain weight before Valentines Day-man oh man they are good. Saw the Turbo Tax program there but DH seems to think he can get a copy free from someone. Tax time again-yuck. At least interest rates are going up on things like TFSA's and RRSP's.

Question: Does anyone here use the Scent Boosters in their laundry, unstoppables or something comparable?
I only ask as I went down the rabbit hole last night watching restock videos (wow they are addicting) but everyone doing a laundry restock has these and I see a lot of YouTubers using them. I never have, I do not think I have ever even used the samples.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Frugalbigmama,i heard that too as they the scent boosters tend to clog the washers up.Mind you my washer is on its last legs 12 yrs old.
Sassy -i only used the free sample and for the price in stores i wouldnt care to buy the boosters.I use liquid fabric softner in summer when i hang out and sheet in the winter (noticed dryer sheets have gone up in price or maybe i just have 3 year old prices stuck in my head.
Well rolled a few coins ,doing the laundry .I was gonna pop over to winners as i have a gift card and having been looking for a nice black purse .I just changed my mind when i put out the garbage this morning ,way tooo cold.

I have had Shoppers (which are individually owned) tell me that only one item is eligible for SCOP and the other items are adjusted price at one location, had to explain to the cashier supervisor what it meant at another store and pointed to the sticker near the cash. At times I have been firm and will ask for the store manager. Ideally it should be the same in all stores - not the current hit and miss, or different rules.
It does apply to regular items, up to $10, sale items are not included. I have had the best luck with inexperienced employees, as they will sometimes give the whole item for free regardless of the price (who am I to argue?)
