@GoodBoy, I find stores always find their own way to interrupt rules.

Last year I had Rona Head Office telling me I could return an item but the store refused the return and was told the store can override Head Office.

My No Frills produce has to be from the same country to be price matched but that seems to only be some No Frills.

For those who shop at RCSS, I saw a post on IG that someone posted their RCSS is also doing the same for produce when price matching, that it has to be from the same country. They were told it is Loblaw's Policy.

@SassyAshley that is so true! I ordered an item online from Shoppers, told I could return it to any Shoppers, only to be told no as they don't carry the product. So I went to another Shoppers and got a refund. Annoying!

Question: Does anyone here use the Scent Boosters in their laundry, unstoppables or something comparable?

I only ask as I went down the rabbit hole last night watching restock videos (wow they are addicting) but everyone doing a laundry restock has these and I see a lot of YouTubers using them. I never have, I do not think I have ever even used the samples.

I don't use the samples in my laundry, but I do put them in small containers in my basement (especially near litterbox) and garage. Cheap air fresheners

My Amazon order has been delivered! DS brought it in the house. I don't really order online much and rarely for myself so this is exciting (and best is that I used a GC gifted to me years ago!)

Trying to get a shopping list made and some kinda general meal plan. I had one ordered with RCSS thinking I had a bonus pc point offer but found out it expired the day before so now I have to change it since I had to add/subtract stuff to make the min purchase.

Had an issue again with a client and payment. It’s happened before and it’s beyond frustrating to have to chase $$$$. Finally it came through 6 hours later! I’m going to have to have ANOTHER chat with her and I hate those kinda chats.

Man, it is cold, but it is not supposed the last long and it is February. I am changing roles at work and the new project kicked off while I still have all my other responsibilities and that is the case for at lest 2 months.
I did all the tracking and budget catch up for January and it was a great month of not spending and the 5% interest on the saving account was amazing, now I need to move that money to the RSP and TSFS but it was fun while it lasted. We do have one huge expense to save for as we have significant vacation planned for Jan of 2024. DH and I celebrate 30 yrs of marriage in June of 2024 so the trip is our anniversary gift.

Dinner tonight is breakfast for dinner! Bacon, eggs, toast and hashbrowns. (bacon and hashbrowns out of the freezer!) (the bacon has been kicking around because it has been a long time since I have bought it- before the crazy price increase)
We are doing great planning the meals from the newly cleaned/organized freezer on the bottom of the fridge!

So I have buns to use up. And a Marc Angelo pork roast in the freezer to use up. Could I thaw and cook in the slow cooker and then shred and mix with BBQ sauce to make it like pulled pork? I may be able to pass it off like that if so

Got lots of stuff done, happy about that.

Dishwasher and Washer Deep Clean are done. Still need to do the Oven, Microwave and Kettle, these ones are not bad, we just cleaned all of them not that long ago but figured if I am doing an appliance deep clean might as well tackle them all.

We made a Pasta Bake for dinner, pulled a package of cooked ground beef added some mushrooms and onions and a can of pasta sauce and cooked pasta, topped it with cheese and baked it off. Made Cheesy Garlic Naan on the side.

Work was okay, I was on a roll last night and everything was flowing and coming together but I stopped because it was getting late, I should have kept going. Today was more of a struggle, it was not flowing as well and taking more focus to bring it all together.

I set up the fire stick and Mom has already found 4 or 5 shows (series) she wants to watch. We are opposites, she can never find anything to watch where is my to-watch lists are so long I will never get through them.

Got most of the shopping from this week put away which is nice normally it takes me all weekend but since the Pantry and Bathroom Closest are organized it is so much quicker to put stuff away.

Set up my cleaning supplies basket in the basement, loving this idea.

I need to go back to Dollarama to get a basket for my Notebooks, if you follow me on Instagram you know about my notebook collection.

Ended up doing a small shop at Safeway after Dh did his yoga class.

Everything I got was on sale and produce only.

Saved $6.28 in sales
Saved $1.35 in gas coupon that was left at the pump
Used $10.00 Danone GC.
Total savings $17.63
Earned 50 Scene points whatever that gets me which is probably nothing.

Good Morning,
We lost power overnight, the house feels so cold even though the power has been back on for an hour, it takes so long for this house to warm up.

Last night was not a good night, I fell asleep for half an hour, maybe 45 minutes, and woke up wide awake, took over an hour to fall back asleep. Woke up when the power went off at 2 as my fan started beeping, again up over an hour. Woke up when the power came back on, I think my alarm clock is done, it was making a horrible noise so I unplugged it and then get up for the day. I am not feeling rested at all.

Because I am so tired, I am lacking ambition today, I keep thinking about getting up and doing things but so far it just has not happened. Might move the Oven deep clean to tomorrow, not sure I have the ambition to tackle that today. But I do want to make some muffins.

Need to find some ambition as this cup of tea is almost gone and my ambition has not come yet.

Very grateful our power never went off yesterday @SassyAshley because it is damn freezing out! It's becasue of these nasty temps that I'm failing to get motivated to shop, get gas, etc.
The temptation is there to wait for my sidekick to wake up and accompany me, but DH shift work sees his Saturday's start at the crack of 3-4 p.m. ha ha ha
I have the urge to make up a large lasagna, but then again I could just as easily not. Decisions....

I went to Public Harvest and another errands and after I was done,just too cold
Took a hot shower and after did 2 loads of laundry.

I’m supervising a basketball tournament this weekend, so earning some volunteer hours towards an EDO.

I went to the coop for a few groceries this morning and managed a few deals. $2.50/lb green grapes - $0.25 Eclipsa
$4.99 bag of sweet kale salad - $1.50 sticker
$1.10 mechanically tenderized pork steak - $1 sticker = $0.10 that even the teller commented that she envied
$1.99 sour candies - $1 CO51 birthday rebate
I used a gift card to pay for my purchase, which I bought on promo last Black Friday.

Went for a short walk to SDM while the rain stayed away. Grabbed 3 NN pastas for $5 and got a whopping 1075 points . Thanks Galen.


Keep checking Flashfood for some produce boxes with seem to be harder for me to find in my area. Lots of meat and dairy but very little good stuff. Off to check them again.
