    More good advice. Thanks again, OB.

    Picked up one last week for Stagg's Steakhouse chili--rain check says BOGO for offer, quantity 24, now just thinking after the fact, does that mean I could buy 24 in total (12 free) or buy 24 (get 24 free). Just in case they ever get 4 cases in stock (they're the only ones in Canada selling that variety)...

    Flyer is in today's Community paper. I have to rush so haven't time to provide detail now.

    If you're planning on buying Kellogg's the offer is better this week B5G100 @ $5 (including some Jumbos).

    Next week same offer on Jumbos at $6.99.

    The flyer didn't come in my mail today
    Hopefully tomorrow when all the others usually come (Thursdays). Our Safeway flyer is delivered by Canada Post, and the other flyers delivered by a tendered company. I've used this company to deliver flyers when I owned a retail store. Not sure why Safeway would want to have Canada Post deliver their flyers. They are horribly expensive for flyer delivery! In any case, I hope I get it tomorrow!

    Nicely said.

    QUOTE=emax;4473898]"sneaky underhanded trick?" That's a bit harsh.

    I just cut out every coupon that appears eligible and hand over the stack at the Safeway checkout, let them figure it out. That's how I stumbled onto this extra discount in the first place. I'm not suggesting you force the checkout person into an uncomfortable situation - this isn't about being a douche and squeezing every last penny or every last airmile out of the situation.

    If the coupon can't be combined with any other airmiles coupon then that could mean we also shouldn't be able to use the Email Direct airmiles coupons at the same time. Or those extra bonus coupons that are sent in the Airmiles mailings every month or two. I have better things to do than try to read all the fine print on every coupon or flyer offer.

    At the end of the day I'll rely on their systems and their staff to allow or disallow whatever combination of coupons. That'll tell me what their policies are and what total discounts I can count on to reduce their product prices. If the effective price after these discounts is still higher than buying elsewhere (eg: the pepsi deal this week), then I won't buy at Safeway. It's not an emotional thing; it's not trying to be sneaky or game the system; it's about getting the best price on the product using the sales, discount coupons and loyalty rebates offered.[/QUOTE]

    The new Safeway has:

    Spend $100 get 150 (store specific flyer)
    combined with spend $100 get 100 (flyer)
    and spend $100 get 100 (email)

    You could spend $100 and get 350 Air Miles.. (in addition to whatever Air Miles you get for product purchase). Amazing!

    I've combined everything on P.1 including adding Emax's spreadsheet link.

    I've emailed the Mods as to why I can't change the title anymore. It might be that the thread is too long (almost 300,000 hits now) so I might have to start a new one.

    If someone can please post the link to the email.direct when it shows up thanks as I'm still not getting it and when I email Safeway I'm getting an error message.
