I will be surprised if ours has any available but I will try! Should have bought more the first day of sale but I thought to myself oh I may be back for more.

@Frugalbigmama sale of the ground beef between DH and myself stemmed from us discovering a family sized package of ground pork in our freezer??
Don't recall why I would have ever bought such a large package BUT then the sale of the extra lean ground beef seemed like the perfect way to blend them.
    ha ha ha. Oh well.

Good idea!!! I went and of course they are sold out. I over heard the stock boy (man) tell a lady to get a rain check so I asked for one as well. So now I will get it for 10% off the sale price and it is for 6!! Pretty sure I will redeem for all 6 and stock the freezer up but we will see!

At FB I bought a bag of mini potatoes $2.99 (it is bbq season so needed ) and a package of hamburger buns.
Stopped at GT on the way home and picked up a Kale salad ($3.99) and a box of buttermilk chicken strips.
Came home and made salad (1/3 of the bag) and 2 strips for a late lunch! Cheaper then the Cheeseburger I really wanted at Mcdonald's lol.

    Oh well.
Today I decided to make the splurge on my freezer.
I see it as a long term investment like the other small fridge for beverages and wathever it fits in.
It was not cheap of coarse.
    275,91$ taxes included. walmart online
    Saving of 80$
    It is a 5 ''3
I was watching a 3''3 but for 40$ more I think I am better with more space.
    Artic Air brand.
It will be delivered by the end of the week.
Now I will be able to fits ice cream, frozen dinners, few packages of meat and frozen fruits.
    No delivering fees

I went to local lococo's today seniors day for me saved 5% which was 4.60 and used 3.50 in cpns .
i got a quarter piece of watermelon for 4.75 gonna give the girls half when we babysit on wed /thursday
    siggis yogurt 5.69-1.50=4.19 a tub
    castello cheese slices 5.40-2.00 cpn=3.40
pears were 1.99 lb so i paid 2.31
hydro lettuce in a clamshell 2.36 after discount
    pharmigiano reggiano 9.49

    plus zucchini,brocolli crowns ,bananas,apples ,grapes,blueberries,ginger root,tomatoes

@cath007 your new freezer is a fantastic investment! You will love having extra items on hand when you want to make something. Plus sales
on meats can be stockpiled a bit. @coupon girl !! I am quite stunned as to what the price on whole watermelons is out your way? We ONLY buy them when they are sale priced here.
Roughly $2.50 to $4.00. The reason is we just never know how red or sweet they are until they are cut open so why gamble?
The week of May 15 -21 we bought a nice sweet one from NF for just $3.44

Would it be possible to purchase a pair of jeans in a different size and then exchange them at a later date for your appropriate size?

If the store has a policy of # days for exchange or return, you can wait until the end of the period and, if you cannot find the size you want, just return them. More hassle, but at least you get what you want. Just be absolutely certain of the return policy before attempting.

I was able to do so with my shoe purchase from Sport Chek. I bought six pairs and found them to be a bit small. I was able to exchange them for larger sizes one month after the end of the return/refund policy. They were very generous and could have said 'no'.

One of my RCSS Customer Service workers told me that RCSS does the same thing. They promise a special high-value gift offer, but never have any in stock. So, if someone wants one of the Bonus/Free gifts WUS $$$, they have to settle for a lower quality gift. A typical shady/unethical practice; exactly what you might expect from RCSS.

@coupon girl , it is funny you mention the price of Watermelon, I saw some people on facebook discussing Costco watermelons and were they worth it, I was shocked to see they were $16.99. Even more shocked when one person said her household buys 3 a week.

@cath007 , I have not had an issue saving more than 2 offers but I did notice last week when I went to say my offers that some of them said the offer could not be saved. I find that kind of surprising since they were No Name products (sour cream and perogies).

@HermanH , I personally do not shop at Reitman's but they are owned by the same company who owns Penningtons which makes me think this would not work. From previous experience they process these as two separate transactions, they have to process the return and then process the new order which I believe would lead to losing the discount. I am not saying their process is a good one but from my experience this is how they do it, granted I have never re bought the same product but knowing what I know of this company, this is why they do it the way they do it.

On side note, I have found for plus-size clothing Torrid is a much easier company to deal with when it comes to their policies and at least at my store they are very accommodating and helpful. Only downside right now is due to the current US turmoil they are not shipping to store right now so you can only order online if your store has stock or pay shipping fees.

Wednesday! Sunny but cloudy! Expecting rain later today.

    Coffee is good

Have a $15 pick up arranged for 3pm! Will get out in the garage at lunch and hope to post a bunch of things for sale.
We have a 20ft table top that I will set up and start organizing/posting! Can't wait till it is all gone and I can have all the empty storage bins (most were free! After yard sale free stuff at the curbside in the bins!!! I took the junk for the bins and then got rid of the stuff!)
Adding $ to my envelope is my motivation!!

Last night's dinner was very good and easy! It helped that I had prepped the chicken already and had a plan. I wasn't feeling like cooking...but put the chicken in the convection oven (small counter top one) Made a pot of rice. Added asparagus to the air fryer. Easy peasy! I was the only one home so put the leftovers in the fridge for anyone that wanted them- They were all eaten! The empty dishes in the sink are ready to wash.

I will make 8 burger patties this morning and put in the fridge for dinner tonight. Picked up the buns yesterday. Will make Kale salad to go with it.
May pop in RCSS and buy a few packages of the BLSL chicken (we have lots in the freezer that I got for cheap but I know prices are just going up) The package I bought the other day did us 2 meals so still way cheaper then other options. Will marinate them in freezer bags so they are easy to pull out of the freezer and thaw/dump and cook! Have many packages of ribs in the freezer (not a fan but the price was right) so I may take a package out this morning to thaw for tomorrow nights dinner. So tiring trying to plan dinner all the time...

Ok let's get this work day out of the way so I can enjoy the sunshine before it rains!

    Good Morning Everyone,
It is a production day for me, someone is off and we do not have coverage so I am covering. Will see how covering someone and trying to rewrite multiple training plans goes. Although one of the ones I am writing is for the position I am covering.

After my appointment yesterday I ran into No Frills to try to price match another pack of Ground Beef but oddly they had Medium Ground Beef in the Extra Lean section. Since I am in production today I might try a different store on my way home.

My plan this morning was too take a quick look at the flyers before I needed to be up and out to come in but, decided that extra hour of sleep was more important. I am not sure what it is but this past week I have been so tired even when I get what I think is a good night of sleep. Hoping getting jabbed in the arm yesterday will help level everything out and this tiredness and lack of ambition will pass.

Before I went to the doc yesterday I had to pick up my prescription to take with me, I was a little surprised, I called it in on Monday but when I arrived I was told they were out and the truck would be there around 4, well usually between 3 and 4. This did not work for me as my appointment was at 2:15. I get it things happen but why would you not call me when I called in the prescription to let me know you didn't have it. I called it in on Monday for all you knew I was coming Monday for it but they said they ran out on Sunday. Luckily they were able to make it work and got me what I needed but why not just give me a call?

Alright time to get back to these training plans, they won't write themselves.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone.

I got off my duff early this morning to " try " and get some of that extra lean ground beef from FB. The signs were posted at the bunker..." please get a raincheck for the ground beef " . Guess they got tired of telling customers asking " where's the beef? " ha ha
Received a raincheck from 2 different stores! Close by to each other which I appreciated.
I got 3 at each store, the one store said I was only allowed 2 but she'd give me 3. That was nice.
