Good Evening,
It was one of those days.
Everything was going well, I was knocking things out, getting things done and then my internet went down. Okay, fine, no problem, I will go take a shower and sure enough by the time I was out I had internet again and back to working I went.
Little while later it goes down again, okay, again no problem, I will restart the modem and make my lunch before my meeting, by the time I was done it was back up.
Just before my meeting it goes down again, okay no problem I got 20 minutes, it seems to be coming back up in 10 minutes or so, nope not this time. Luckily I could do my meeting on my phone. After my meeting we still had no internet so we contact our provider, "Yes, there is an outage in your area, we know, please be patient, we do not have ETA."
Why can internet providers not be like hydro, give me something anything, should I run out and do some errands or wait because when I get to the end of my road it will be back????
We got internet back, I was able to finish my upload for the day.
Then I decided to run to Giant Tiger, I wanted to grab a bag of the mini russets potatoes they have on sale so I can make smashed potatoes this weekend, I ended up grabbing two bags.
I was craving something sweet so I ran to Sobey's but nothing jumped out at me, so I left emptied handed.
Decided since I was out I would run to Food Basics so I don't have to go next week, WOW, I do not know if a truck did not come in but the store was empty, the produce section was bare, I was able to get:
2 x 3-pack Romaine (they had about 10 on the shelf)
1 x 1.5lb Cherry Tomatoes (they had 5 on the shelf)
10 x Pasta
1 x Heavy Whipping Cream
The few mangos they had were not good they were brown and pitted so I skipped those and they did not have any of Pierre that was on sale, I want to try the peach flavour. Also did not find anything sweet there so guess it wasn't meant to be.
Dinner was Chicken Mushroom Skillet, kept it simple with a one pot meal, it has been a long week.
The kitchen is clean, the dishwasher is running and tomorrow is another day.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@flemeth I signed up today and omg, 3 surveys later at the 80 to 90% done it said the survey was full, this is why I quit swagbucks, it just felt to scammy. So I don’t think I will try again. I got one AM for signing up. I earned 10 AM from Shell and decided to do a summer stock up at the liquor store as we still get AM here. So that was another 15 AM so I feel like I made out OK, if the bonus miles form the wine are also considered.

@lilo0003 I only do surveys when there is offer like this one and STB . I don’t try for the higher amount of AM I try the surveys with 2 or 5 AM so when it kick me out 2 mins in I take the 1AM that’s what adds up for me.I would not do surveys otherwise .
I also used my partners BMO CC at shell for his account which will give an additional 100 BAM . Got 19 AM from RYO for his account and 11 from shell for fuel so both account will have the full 500 BAM

Good Morning Everyone,
Up early today which is nice, I know I am weird even on the weekend I like to wake up early I find it just starts my day off right.
Last night I started writing a meal plan for the week, Dinners went really well lots of options now I just need to figure out Breakfasts and lunches. I think I want to do some baking, it has been a while which is odd but I feel like I have been in funk. Just overwhelmed with everything going on so I was just focusing on the bare basics.
The only thing is now that I have decided I want to do some baking, I will need to limit myself because my list has gotten a little long and even if I share it, we won't get through it all.
But, before I get to any cooking or baking there is some cleaning to get done. I still have some groceries to take down to pantry, I need to reorganize my Pasta bin, clean the bathroom and do the floors.
Happy Saturday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@flemeth , thanks for the ideas. I never even consider the BMO MC would add to the AM, and it’s all I use at AM partners. We only got this card last fall and it has really upped my AM game.

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mom out there.
I did pretty well yesterday, I got everything done expect the kitchen floor which might be a good thing because OH MY gosh did I keep dropping things well I was making dinner last night. Will try to get the floors done once my prep is done.
Bathroom is clean including the floor, Pantry is tidied and I reorganized the Pasta bin, turns out I have a few too many bags now as they won't all fit but a good problem to have. As well one of the new bags the seem popped so I put that in a container upstairs. Also emptied the dishwasher so we can stay on top of the dirty dishes and don't let them pile up. As well, well I was making my breakfast I cleaned out the fridge, we are doing good on little to no food waste, we had some leftover pasta I forgot to use up and some Chicken Chunks I forgot to take in my lunch, I took a ceasar salad to use them up opened my lunch bag to realize I only brought the salad.
Dinner last night was homemade pizza, which was super yummy but oh my gosh, I got pizza sauce all the place, I kept dropping cheese, I dropped some onions, it was an adventure.
Today, I need to prep for the week, I could not figure out what to make for my lunches this week. I have been eating a lot of bowls lately which I love because I can stuff them with veggies but I wanted something different this week so I am going to make Greek Bowls with Greek Orzo Salad and Yogurt marinated Chicken.
I also have some Ricotta to use up so going to make Lemon Ricotta Muffins.
Last night to make the pizza, we did get some prep done for the week, we needed all 3 cheeses, Cheddar, Mozzarella and Parmesan have been grated. As well I have Mushrooms have been cleaned so they just need to be chopped.
Going to have some breakfast and then I will dive in head first to prep.
Also need to figure out dinner for tonight.

Happy Mother's Day! Hope you all have sunshine like we do
Had a great night at my sister's on Friday. My BIL ordered way too much Chinese. Sent all the leftovers home with us and DS is in heaven.
I am washing the containers as they are emptied. Great for when I send the oldest with food and I don't have to worry about never seeing my good glass container again.
Saturday- I stayed with my niece in the morning while they each had appts etc. They forgot to empty their outdoor fridge before winter (filled with cans of pop etc) and of course it all exploded. I was nice and cleaned out as much as I could (it needed to be moved out so the bottom drawers could be pulled out) but I did a pretty good job considering! My sister was very appreciative. Earned the Chinese food
This morning I made coffee and popped out to No Frills. Just really wanted to pick up milk before DS asks me (he seems to be the one that uses the milk) so in the end spent $16 on milk, bananas, pineapple, loaf of bread (we have 2 loaves in freezer but picked up a fresh one for DS's work sandwiches) marked down mini eggs and a package of sandwich meat. Probably won't shop till Wednesday when I pick up Romaine 3pk ($2.88 FB- will PM at RCSS since it is usually better there) Will be creative with meals this week to use what we have.
My breakfast this week will be oatmeal. Will save the eggs for the others and I have a new carton of almond milk to use and will add bananas/frozen raspberries.
ok off to enjoy the sunshine!

@Frugalbigmama , I do the same thing with Take-Out containers.
I have family members who admit this is how they get their tupperware, they consider them theirs if you give them something in them.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Came across a box of abandoned groceries. Bottle of pasta sauce, Kraft dinner, crackers, sMore's, Castella cake, 2 boxes of Jello, 2 bottles of hot sauce. All good for my pantry. I'll find some way to use them.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.
