It’s the Air Miles app. Then each Thursday there is a new series of offers and it’s typically fresh food. Most items have a limit of 4 and it does not have to be on the same receipt.
As for Scene I just can’t be bothered to fight them on points so I will never buy something just because it has points. It has to be something I actually needed at a price I am willing to pay. A few weeks ago I had a redemption of 200 points showing after using the card at Swiss Chalet. Which I had not done. You cannot even redeem in such a small amount and I had not asked to use the points, but calling them is just not worth it for me.

Thanks lilo i just downloaded the airmiles app and i got 6 airmiles as i bought cherries for the granddaughters last sat ,and eggs i had also .That is a cool way to get airmiles .How long does it take the airmiles to show up after scanning?

You are right about the scene points so darn hard for points when you dont get them.

@coupon girl once your receipt is processed it will show in your account but sometimes it can take about a week to get to finish processing . If the items are denied you can submit an inquiry on the APP. A receipt is good for scanning up to 14 days. The AI can be stupid at times and don’t recognize your items

You should download the Shell APP. June27 is 1AM/1L . And there is another other offer for 50 AM for every 20L gas + spent $5 instore these offer will stack. Have fun with your phone

@coupon girl sometimes there is offer to download the Shell app earn X AM . I think people are reporting getting offers for 300 AM just to download the Shell APP right now .Look at your offers before you download it and see if you can cash in with some big bonus AM.

Rescued 2x 175g packages of pepperoni from the dump.

My Shell gave me 5x ham and cheese sandwiches, past their sale date. They went to a grateful tummy.

RCSS had a 5-pound chub of cooked chicken breast for $3/lb, but I had to pass on it, because I have absolutely no room left in my freezers. Now, I fear that the Grocery Gods will be angered at my hubris, for turning my back on their generous offer. Please do not smite me!

Good Morning! We are getting closer to the weekend Of course it is dark and gray here and looks like the rain is coming in!

Weird long weekend! Canada Day Celebrations happen on July 1st in my town with fireworks that evening.
Thinking of going away for a night or 2 on Sunday since it's looking like rain!

Last night at dinner time I decided to make a homemade mac and cheese. So that was dinner...the leftovers won't last long.
I need to pop out to pick up burger patties from FB for DS. Picked up the buns yesterday.
Heading to the casino later today to use free play, enter free draw, get extra free play for today and pick up a gift. Will have a free dinner too.
It all lined up for today so today is the day to go! Will probably top up the gas tank too if the price is .10C cheaper then home. Tomorrow is .10C off a L at Ultramar so will see what will be the best deal.

Going to tidy up the house a bit today and see what I can move to the garage (recycling) and to my vehicle (donation) to just get stuff out of the house!

The rain has now started!!

Good morning all.

I stopped in at a local veggie market on my way home for work yesterday and grabbed a few good deals.
Huge bunch of fresh local dill for $1.89 (NF was 3.49), large sweet potatoes @$1.69(everywhere else here is min 1.99+) onions at 89c/lb instead of 2.49-2.99/lb. Also grabbed some kale. I did splurge and get a bag of frozen local raspberries and okanagan cherries and spent $32 and change.

After I picked up Dh we hit up NF. I really only went in for naan and wraps but did need more things and figured since I was there and had some energy left I’d get it. All stuff we needed and I spent $60.80. Used $60 in points so 80c OOP but then earned a whopping 500 pts (BIG THANK YOU Mr. Weston) so really it cost me 30c.

I do need to hit up the nursery to get some seeds for some veggies that I’m going to to plant in place of all the garlic I harvested a few days ago. ChatGPT is very helpful especially when you’re overwhelmed with gardening stuff plus you’re still a newbie.

Raining here but i went to winners got my towel 11.99 ,then also got 3 small tocca perfumes reduced 16.00 one is my daughters favourite cleopatra so i will give it to her the rest for me.Got 2 pkgs of mens socks 3 in a pkg for 5.00 reduced for xmas.Then on to shoppers for seniors day spent 50 so got my 10.00 promo card.

Then home as my knee is sore.

My daughter-in-laws 40th birthday is on sunday .I am giving her some money and a skin care set i paid 9.99 at indigo after xmas .It is always great to pick up stuff yr round this is a coconut set and she loves coconut.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am kind of having a day.

I started my day with my monthly check-in, all is good but weird. I guess my training was brought up again in a meeting, I am kind of at a loss, the only feedback I am getting contradicts itself. I am told the concern is X but that is not reflected in my evaluations. Left me feeling a little knocked down, I thought I was doing so well juggling 7 trainees.

Then I decided to run to our local branch to have a staff member test some new training quizzes for me. I am trying to use technology instead of me physically doing all work. Problem was on my end it just kept showing me the answers even when I went into "test." Good news, it is working so that is one good thing but it is going to be a lot of work to get these up and running.

I decided to run into No Frills on my way home to grab a few things, they had ground chicken on for $3 so grabbed a few more packs because I missed the last Costco sale. Also grabbed some produce: Lemons, Mushrooms, Peppers, Potatoes, Onions, Tomatoes, all on sale even the mushrooms. Also got my free bag of chips from the scratch to win, sour cream and Price Matched an Almond Milk. Got caught in a complete downpour coming out, I was soaked.

Then it let up so I ran to Sobeys to grabbed the Taylor Farm Salad kits on sale for $3.99 + 300 pts if you buy 3 and 4 bags of Egg Noodles $3.99 = 200 pts when you buy 2 bags. I also wanted a napa cabbage but they only had 2 and they were the size of my head and brown instead of green so I passed.

Back home to get some work done but none of what I planned to work on, a lot of was the day to day stuff coming in for me to dig into or fix. Plus I needed to find tasks that didn't need a lot of focus. Honestly, I am hating all of my training plans right now, with all the changes we have made they are now useless and I am struggling to update them and keep them within reason but teach everything I need to teach. Don't get me wrong I love my job but teaching adults is tricky and I find we have lost the this is my job I have to do it mentality and it is more push back when they don't like a process or feel the training is too long.

Then we got Mom's car boosted as it would not start, took it for a long drive got home and I don't know why I turned it off then tried to restart it and it won't restart. Called the mechanic they are booked until the second week of July. Kind of feel like this was the cherry on top. I was starting to feel better but now feeling knocked back down, which wouldn't take a lot today.

I have tomorrow and Monday off which now just seems like horrible timing because after my meeting I feel like I should work all week to try to prove something, although I am not sure what that something is. I am taking the weekend off but part of me questions, why do things like this always seem to happen right before a long weekend when all I want to do is shut down and recharge and then instead I spend all weekend anxious and spinning which is the complete opposite. I really wish this did not bug me the way it does, it eats at me and that is just the person I am.

Well on that note maybe I will go and rage clean something and see if that helps.
