I am also suffering from depression from last one year. It is really embarrassing. Thank you for thinking of us and help us struggle with depression. I notice when I do not eat sweets, I do not depressed. I also had good drinking water resonance.

You're in good company here. Each of us have something in common, but are not all the same. Some days even hours are easier than others, just
take it one day at a time. Feel free to post anytime, there is usually someone around to listen.

I don't think there is anything to be embarrassed about. There are MANY people walking around with undiagnosed depression. Kudos to people who recognize that they need the help and get it. I went through it myself, and can only liken it to standing in the bottom of a big hole that I couldn't climb out of (don't know if that makes any sense...just my take on it). Thankfully, that was 15 years ago!

Again, nothing to be embarrassed about, and really needs to be discussed more openly!

    My heart is broken.
Grandpa(DW Dad) who lives with us, came back from the heart specialist today and said he had until June. Then a few minutes later said he wasn't
    serious.
I then saw this in the paper, and DD tells me people at school say it all the time

I have, to some extent or another, for ten years, since I was 8. I began to get severe anxiety when I was 9 or 10, and it came back again around 14-15. I'm fairly certain I have dysthymia, we have a history of manic depression in my family but I feel that my symptoms are more consistent with dysthymia.

I'm getting better with it now, and with my social anxiety, and I can credit a lot of that to couponing and this site.

Childhood depression is terrible, if you ever sense a kid has it, HELP THEM. Do whatever you can, don't just shove them into therapy, that doesn't help much.

Sad to see that so many of us suffer from depression I've battled with it for years. It goes in streaks... I can feel myself sinking into another low right now. It just feels like there's something missing in my life. SC has helped as have my friends IRL. *hugs* to everyone going through this.

Good idea, maybe your Dr.or Rabbi can suggest someone.
I'm not certain if you need a referral.
In the meantime, take it one day or hour at a time if you have to.

After some time not feeling it, I have started to have the feelings again for a variety of reasons. I am becoming unmotivated and just completely apathetic. I tried to write something to bring me out of my mood but that just made things worse. I have started to depression eat which is not good as I have been trying to lose weight but I cant help myself. I feel even worse knowing there are people far worse off then me and they arent complaining like me. It makes me feel like a whining brat.

The changing of the season, and even the seesaw affect of the weather
    can mess things up.
I wish I had a solution, but all I can say is know that you are not alone.
Again I say this as much to myself as to you.

One thing that kept me from depression in recent weeks were my pet fish and dwarf frogs. Sadly due to my brother not cleaning the tank like he was supposed to, most of the fish and one of the frogs died. This understandably has left me in a very unhappy place. The only thing keeping me form total depression is that the albino catfish, one frog, and my favourite fish ( my betta fish aka Siamese fighting fish) are still alive. I feel really upset that the rest have died though.

It is a known fact, that pets are therapeutic, so it is understandable that you would be upset. However, you had nothing to do with the death of some pets. Perhaps you could replace them?
