Life is short - brag about it -

I have been thinking this morning about life. Smart Canucks has changed so much over the past few years. I read all the brags about people getting a truck load of shampoo or diapers. All great and definately a money saver. Then I read the tiny brags about people who saved $20 off their graocery bill. Bravo!!! Then I continue on and ready the people that complain about receiving a printed coupon from a manufacturer, like the manufacturer had to send them anything at all . Continuing on, the ones complaining about the store cashier, the store CSM, the idiot standing behind them in line, and most often, the brag someone posts and don't realize they have made a mistake using a coupon until people jump down their throat and post rude comments,and I start to think....(and yes for all you who know me, I can think once in a while ) What's life giving us. Well recently I made my bucket list. My Dr. said to me..."don't stop living" whether a person has 6 days, 6 months, 6 years or 66 years, we should treat people like this is our last day on earth. We should be extremely thankful that we can save even .50 on anything, because that is still a savings. Thankful we can help a fellow SC who has made a mistake using a coupon, and teach them. We should be thankful that we can hold our children and our grandchild, our dh's and dw's. We should treat each other with respect, and respect each others opinion. Smart Canucks has a new look, and I'm hoping that we can give it a new start. Stop the petty issues and belittling of those trying to help others, show patience and understanding, work issues out and live every day like it was your last!

Ahhh, words of wisdom . It might take effort for some but, focusing on all that is positive and beautiful while ignoring the little annoying things, that really are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, enriches our lives to a great extent.

Holly, well said! That is what I mean by sometimes, we take couponing a bit too seriously. Whether you are saving $0.50 or $500, it is still a savings.

thank you holly-how true take the time to see the little things in life -my daughter told me today she is coming into hamilton with her hubby from out of town for an hour this evenig to visit-his dear little nefew who is in the hospital-then they are driving back to their city tonight for work on thursday-i thought i raised a wonderfull daughter
