And sometimes een before the spaghetti sauce, i will use the jar of tomato or pasta sauce to make a pizza, since we only use a little bit anyways, it's not worth buying a seperate jar for pizza. Yes, we get our money worth from a jar of sauce lol.
Leftover roast beef makes a good soup. Just add vegetables (carrots, corn, greenbeans, potato etc.) and water, with an envelope of lipton recipe or oxo or beef broth and simmer a couple hours.Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!

yeah we use our bones and carcases for broth and make it ourselves and use the extra meats for soups as well.

Just add leftover meats to your salad and you have a gourmet salad.

Oh, I wish we had leftovers more often!
My son's fave is when there is leftover chili, and I make it into soup.

You have leftover chili?!?!? Most of the time, we'll take leftovers to work for lunch the next day to save on meals out. It's super cheap and I make leftovers for this purpose. A few other leftovers I make on purpose include:
-Leftover mashed potatoes to become the base for tuna or crab cakes or the topping for a shepherd's pie.
-Leftover rice to become rice pudding
-leftover cooked beans to add to just about anything! (I always boil about twice what I need so that I can throw them into whatever strikes my fancy, from bean quesadillas to a quick chili bowl, to bean nachos, or even bean dip!)

I love leftover pasta, I don't know why. The cooked ones are great, but the leftovers are excellent as well.

Nachos is a good idea! I never end up eating my leftovers and need to be more creative with it. The boiled potatoes - perogy casserole is a smart one too - the BF would love it!
