Went to Independent today to get the free milk and was told they are not accepting them as the company will not reimburse them? Anyone else having trouble?

I know my Independent does not accept any printable coupons, maybe that is why?

Zehr's in Goderich would not take them either because coupon stated could not be combined with any other offers.

Zehrs in waterloo beechwood would only take 1 per customer, so I used 1 on 4 boxes, which I think is still a pretty good deal, considering 4L of milk for $3, but I used 2 at Zehrs inside the mall today with no problem. That's all I need though for the week cause I don't want to freeze them.

I called my independent this morning and they stated they would allow up to the limit in printable which was 8 and that normally they would only except one printable so I guess depends on location

I remember that some No frills I have in the area started placing notes that they won't accept "Printed coupons" since a few incidents ahwhile ago - I think people were using more than one and they didn't get reimbursed. I am not sure if it was a facebook promotion at that time where you were allowed to use 1 per person and some used 50 copies....

That's why Loblaws now will accept only one.

and I would assume other stores depending from the mgr

I was allowed to use 4 at my loblaws. The cashier asked the manager, and the manager said he didn't have a problem with it as long as it was one coupon per item.

I guess it just depends on the store you go to!

I think it all depends to the manager on duty - It may be the same store - the same day but a different manager/supervisor and you get advised differently.

Our store has a sign up...limit of 4 and WILL take printables. Also, I asked the Zehrs manager this am if I could donate some to the foodbank he said, "yes" He told me I could get 6. I said, "Oh I was hoping you would allow a large quantity!" He said, "How large?" I replied,"20-30?" He then said 30 was fine. I'm picking them up tomorrow morning and the foodbank truck will deliver them for me just as they did with the free pizza a year or two ago.(Girls night in)
Open an account with Tangerine (ING) using my ORANGE KEY...29564343S1. When you open an account and deposit 100.00 you and I will both receive $25.00. Wait that's not all.....I will also send you 15.00 worth of coupons from your wishlist as a way of saying thanks.

This reminds me of the Ocean Spray printable coupon that went viral last year. I often wonder what "checks and balances" are at play where one person will use one or two and another will use twenty?

This afternoon, I checked with customer service at the Goderich Walmart before shopping.
They had no problem with the Zehrs price-match or using the printed coupons.
    I got 8 - 1litre 1% milk containers.
