unfortunately this is how alot of the trad. trains are going these days. there is really no sure way to lay blame. alot of the times the train starts off great & it only takes 1 to not follow the rules. i've noticed more & more conductors (myself inc.) are now asking riders to let them know if they notice any rules broken as a way to weed out the bad riders.

live & learn i guess. i know for myself personally, i will only jump on a train (& host a train) that has no more than a few riders & where the conductor asks the riders to contact them if people are breaking the rules. this way you have a way better chance of not getting an envie full of crap.

sorry for your experience, its happened to me too. unfortunately it happens alot lately.

just wanted to add.... maybe you can try & find a few things in the train that you could trade or use in vwt's. when this happens to me i usually try & keep some of the long expiary coupons & hopefully i can use them at some point down the road. this way its not such a "slap in the face" to have to pay a BP & postage to mail it back out.

here's hoping for better rides in the future!!

i try to deal with it. get another really rude private message, and i am told if i respond she will consider it harassment? she can degrade and berate me and i cant say anything back?!?! of course i have a right to be upset. it is my trade rating that is going to be affected!! traditional trains go bad, yes i agree. i've been on many where there isnt a single thing i have wanted in that envie. but the coupons i put in there were great. i always throw in extras, and great stuff when i do a train. i am not being told that because i had a bad day, and missed something that i should be "weeded out" Hogwash!!

I think these trains are best for beginners who don't have many coupons. Once you have access to a large percentage of the coupons that are available its difficult to find anything on trains you can use. I did trains in the beginning and enjoyed them but very shortly found them to be a waste of stamps.

Believe concerns and discussions about trains or trades are only to be posted in this thread:

agreed. but why quote me? i'm not the one who started the thread in here. i simply gave my opinion & offered a suggestion on how to not make it a total loss for her. i'm sure when people are "ranting" they'd like to be "comforted" in some way.

there are more threads in this section discussing negative trade/train experiences perhaps they should be directed to the correct section aswell.

There is a place to discuss this and it is not here in the rnt forum. There is a forum specifically for this purpose. Also, did you send Sally888 a message. She deals with this type of issue and would be more than happy to help you out. Please do not air this type of thing here, it's not the place. Thanks

These type of posts are only allowed in the blacklist thread which is a sticky at the top of the trading forum

If it has got bad in the thread, send sally888 a message with a link to the thread, and if it is in PMs, copy her on the PMs so she can see what is happening and discuss with all parties

thanks Fallen pixels for the great advice. being on SC for only 2 months or so, i am not 100% of all of these things. according to the top bar, it looked like the place to post. it was a rant after all, and i had never heard of this thread. some forums have a lot of rules, and this is one of them, which is great. unfortunately there is no instruction book, so we have to learn as we go along....

If it is about a trade or train it needs to go in this thread or it can be seen as an attack on the member which you can get in trouble for
