Tonight I made sweet and sour pork. A while back, I discovered the best recipe for it on allrecipes here. Though some ingredients might seem odd (like ketchup in the sauce), trust me and other reviewers that it is definitely delicious, classic, Canadian Chinese food.

Last night was baked garlic sausage (got a lot of fat out!), beans, and potato salad.
Using the slowcooker today for two reasons - first, I feel awful and know it will hurt more as the day goes on (drat Auntie Flo!), plus it's going to be hot today (drat no a/c).
So I'm making a variation on swiss steak, but with pork - so I don't know if it has a different name, then, lol!

We had meatloaf tonight. It wasn't my best, I admit. I don't think I was paying proper attention when I was making it because it totally didn't stick together at all. *shrugs* oh well. Slap a little Bullseye on it and it was still tasty. <sigh>. Bullseye sauce. I could almost eat Bullseye sauce right from the container. Almost.
So we had steamed broccoli with that and some asian noodles (a la Sidekicks.) as well."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
