Wow, SSBean and Walkonby, you guys did amazing. Thank you so very much in taking part in this food challenge. I've got my list done up, did it last night when I got home, lol since I've be thinking about it a lot the past few days. I will post my pic tonight. Best of luck everyone, and thanks so very much for helping out your neighbourhood food bank this summer. I know together we can collect a ton of food. I will post on the first post, a running total of all the food we have collected and donated to the end of July.

ok so far for 4.48$ this week I have:

18 box of bear paw
4 cans of maple leaf ham (manager deal 0.64$/ea, expiry date is somewhere in 2013! I was not having the coupon to match that product because this is not something I bought usually so give ride of coupon at our local get-together)
4 Canton 500ml immuniforce soup (was already in my box for donation... I get them for free with coupon when I buy oasis immuniforce refrigerated juice 1.75L)
1 pk-6 mott's garden cocktail (fpc from shopper voice)

I will see next week of the month what I could get for the other 5.52$ to get the 10$ mark

I have updated to post 26. Thank you everyone, our list is growing. One the news here last night was a piece about foodbanks. The foodbank in Kelowna BC, and 6 others in BC are in desperate need. The Calgary Foodbanks got together and sent 32 massive boxex (they looked like about 12 feet by 12 feet) of items for Kelowna and to share with the other foodbanks in need.

I'm so excited the we can make a small difference to those who need help. Thank you everyone. I have purchased my items, I'm taking my picture today, then my grandson and I are going off to our local foodbank to drop off the donations. I will post the pic today.

Again thank you everyone for your generous hearts when it comes to helping out your communities

Alright, my grandson and I took our donation over to the food bank today. They were so greatful and couldn't thank us enough. Being there today has given me the thought that perhaps my grandson and I should donate some time as well there, helping out. I'm going to look into it and hopefully this fall or winter we will be able to do that.

So here is the picture of what I donated. The total cost was $11.46 including tax. I also donated 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioner (Dove) from my stockpile.
