I have shared my story on the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada website because if I can at least give hope to one person that they can win their fight, it's worth it. If anyone would like to read it the link is below. The tumour measurements are wrong as you'll notice what they have listed is not the size of a golfball even though my tumour actually was.

Anyways, I've been MIA here as we're packing to move on Sept 1. Busy busy busy!

You're welcome. I know many here have been with me since my journey started and I appreciate it greatly, but also happy they asked me to share my story with them. I hope someone does, even if just to know that there is someone else out there going through the same thing. Because even though you know you aren't the only one facing something, you sometimes feel like it.

lol Patty, the other day I was talking with my Husband and in true Tara-you're such a guy fashion, I blurted out: "So you know how sometimes when women give birth their babies poop on the way out? Yeah that's kinda what Horatio did in my head"

My Husbands like, "wow, you're so classy, and all mine!" haha

But yes feel free to share the story.

Tara, you'll be giving hope to so many people who are grasping at anything they can that will help them...you offer them hope and the possibility of full recovery...there's no better gift.
I loved your "baby" story and your hubby's response...he seems to be quite the guy...I hope you both continue to have only blessings in your lives...Lynn

Some patients would cringe at reliving the ordeal, but you choose to help others with the retelling, VERY unselfish! Did I mention before how BEE-U-TEE-FUL you are??

Tara - you're brave, intelligent, determined, and as walkonby said - definitely beautiful - we know that is inside as well as outside! Thanks for sharing with people who will benefit from your story!

Oh l feel for you. Four years ago l fell down a flight of stairs with my foot caught in the top stair. l have had CT scans, MRI and MRA, needles in the head from the pain clinic and numerous pills to stop the pain. Sleep and demerol is all that works for me. People look at you that you look okay and not disabled but it is not the case with a head injury. Keep up the positive spirit and know that we are all behind you in this journey

Thank you all for your kind words, they mean alot. I'm really no one special, just someone who had a roadblock tossed her way and trying to overcome it as best I can. We all have things that come up in life, fights we either choose to fight or not and this is just mine. Unfortunately some can't win their fights but try their hardest. I know there are people worse off than me and some that don't have support like I do, so if I can give back in any way, shape or form, how could I not?

And Colleen, I understand how you feel entirely. Now that my hair has grown back, when I'm having even a 1/2 good day, you would just assume I'm an average person with no issues. I hurt myself swimming a few weeks ago and have been seeing a nurse every 3 days to get the bandage on my wound changed, well the first visit there I filled out the sheet for my medical history and she looks at the sheet and goes, "um I don't think you meant to check the cancer box", to which I replied "I didn't? Why not?" she was like, "you don't have cancer" and I replied, "I think my oncologist would say otherwise" lol she apologized and said that I didn't look like a cancer patient and also that I seemed to happy and outgoing to have cancer. I replied with a simple, "thank you"

And that is exactly why you are such a great survivor my dear. . .that, and a wonderful sense of humour, the best kind of stubborness, and a generous spirit. . .
