    this is what I hear everytime I have a "great" shop...like today.
    went to safeway and bought:
    2x 400g cheerios
    1x1L safeway brand apple juice
    6x old dutch arriba chips
    1x4L skim milk
    1x2L homo milk
    1x donut for 4 year old (I promised)

    My oop...7 cents!
    the breakdown:
    hand a raincheck for the cheerios for a bogo, used my fpc for the other one...both cheerios= free.
    arriba chips on sale for $2 each, $2 coupon=free.
    had a scratch ticket winner for the apple juice (from a previous promo that an old lady gave to my kids)
    milk and donut I paid for
    used $10 gc from nestle mir (still not sure how come I got a safeway one and not wm which is where I purchased the water, but whatever)
    GC covered tax, donut, and milk and I paid 7cents...
    to which the lady behind me said, do you watch that extreme couponing show?? lol

    p.s. as I was leaving I heard the cashier and that lady talking about my purchase and how the cashier had never seen something like that before. I walked out with my free stuff and a smile on my face. thanks for reading

    Great shop. Love when it is under a $1.00 OOP. I think we have all heard it at least once. I do a monthly donation to my food bank with my coupon deals, and they call me the coupon lady. I absolutely love the nickname.

    too funny (shaking head) you should say yes I'm on it right now with this shop - they'll start looking around for a camera or say "really?" They've never seen someone coupon and use a gift card before?
