Well we always have baby wipes, even without kids in the house
My BF uses them at work, jobsites get messy and he cleans up with them before he leaves and before eating etc - but the sheer number they buy is insane. All of the stores here were cleared out, I was so surprised to find them in the large SDM when I was in Burlington

I agree baby wipes are super handy - I use them to remove makeup. lol.

But yes the sheer volumes. I mean ok yes, take advantage of the deal but people are going INSANE. Who needs 50 tubs when they dont have kids? Those would last forever. lol. Even with 2, I wouldn't want 50 tubs. lol.

But it was the same thing with the chocolate. People get carried away. It is understandable. I'm just not going to read the threads anymore. lol.

Just annoyed that I dragged my 2 little ones out to SDM for when they opened and the first woman in the door bought every single darn tub. I guess it's the shelf clearing that bugs me more than anything.

I wish more SDM's would enforce some kind of limit. 4, 8, 10 or even as one posted said 4 of the exact same (so you could get different kinds). Maybe that would help?

Meh, think it's just the current coupon/deal craze right now. I haven't been able to find coupons in my city in MONTHS. Guess I'm just jealous and miss the "good ole days" when I could actually get deals. lol

i hear you on the wipes thing. i live in a town of a population of 8000 and the shelves have been cleared of the wipes (i just want 3, i do daycare and some parents dont bring wipes!). i went to the bigger sdm 20 mins away from me to do the 20x the points thing last night and all 3 shelves and endcap were cleared of the wipes. so maddening. i think there should be a limit for sure!

We have like 10 SDM's in our city and I'm sure they will all be out. The cashier told me the woman in front of me (who bought 40+) was on her way to the other SDM up the road.

I am hopeful though they people just wanted to double up on points (BP's plus the 20x) so by mid-week hopefully SDM will be backed stocked up again.

Normally I dont buy the tubs (only have 3-4 ever on hand) but I'd like to get them to restock (took the last tub to daycare last week) as well as some extra bps. Plus for $2.99 - $0.75 coupon from the ss insert works out to a pretty good deal. Almost the same as when I buy the 1000 packs on sale at Costco for $20. Plus you get the tubs which come in handy for lots of things.

yeah, they do. i throw 1 in my van, 1 in DH's garage for his greasy ol' hands. i did a cute craft with 1 of the tubs.. (credit goes to pinterest).. i took a bunch of fabric squares and stuffed a diaper wipes container with them and let my dd2 (when she was a bit younger) play with them. she was so facinated with pulling 1 out and there being another 1 in there waiting for her. kind of like when she'd get ahold of a kleenex box

My local store had none left but had put a limit AFTER someone cleared the shelves and walked out with cartfuls. Why not tell them no at the time?

The one where I finally found them also had a limit of 4 and only had the red lid unscented one where someone who was actually buying 1 pack for their baby was upset they did not have her regular type left

I love my mommy! She just called me from her Shoppers Drug Mart to say they had 8 tubs of wipes left - the rest of the store was completely cleared out. So I told her to buy the 8 tubs and a bag of wipes ($10.99 sucks but hey it ends up being free so can't complain too much!) and redeem 22000 points. She calls me back a minute later saying there is a big box of wipes with a tub and five refills for $10.99 too. So I'll getting 9 tubs and 8x refills for 22000 points and she'll get 22500 points back. Not a huge amount but who cares. We go through these like crazy with our poop monster!

So I caved and bought the Red Velvet Cupcakes. I used my WW calculator and again came up with 3 points per cupcake. Now they aren't big, but they ARE delicious. I want dinner to be over so I can eat my cupcake! Or wait maybe just eat cupcakes for dinner??? lmao.
