Buddy, as I am sitting here looking at my samples and stockpile, I am wondering if you (or your hubby) are interested in: The only one I would really need is the ladies shaving gel!
I went to dollarama today and they had the Carnation Hot Chocolate with the coupons inside!! I was really happy to see that! Saved a bit of money buying it there!
Almost done my shopping.. just need to get about 6 more gifts and I need to buy some pretty wrapping paper!!

I am giving out bear paws /mini choc bars/cadbury bars (big kids) and chips

I love playing Crib but none of my current friends know how to play
yes you most certainly can
I know I went to Fermor SDM and they were sold out of the cameras and wireless printers so I we t to the one on Mountain&McPhillips and they do not sell any electronics or perfume ect after midnight ...grrr so he basically if I can't pick it off the shelf in either department I would have to wait til morning
so I went this afternoon to a closer SDM and bought both the camera and the printer and paid $26 ish oop for both items as I used a few $10 sdm cards from promos...as slambert would say "I am so stinkin' happy " LOL
only if your buddy doesn't have a camera
I suggested this so we would be able to see what everyone gets
go to the first page of the thread and you can see if your buddy has a camera or not...
same here I need to get a few more christmas items..

I'm not handing anything out, we never get any kids, which is also why I'm taking my boy to my sister's place to go there, they live in a "better" area that really gets into the whole thing, lots of kids in the area. This of course assuming it's not pouring rain! I remember as a kid it always snowed, though I guess that was more Winnipeg lol, can't really compare the Ottawa weather.
Well buddy I need 5 more presents for you! But I want to get certain things that are Christmas-y so don't worry
And Junior buddy, only 2 more for you!
As for how to dole them out, I plan to do the ones that should be opened early first, like certain Christmas things, and then do an alternating patter, like "treat" then gift, and save the best for last. Though for junior buddy, I'm not sure which you will think is best lol, I think they are all pretty good lol...

Not too many kids around here except a few little ones. Im past years we always go over to my aunts house to park there and take the kids out in her neighbourhood. I did use a B2S$4 for the Nestle Favorites bags and we have these nasty marshmellow pumkin things hubby grandma tried to give the kids for halloween that i have on hand just in case we should get a few kids before we head out but Im not expecting many!

We usually get around 200ish kids. We are in a huge neighborhood and my husband does the yard up very spooky for the kids so we get some that come just to see what he's done
I usually buy whatever candy the Children's Wish Foundation benefits from, normally the little bars. I haven't bought it yet so I don't eat it. I'll get it on Wednesday. This year I've talked my son out of trick or treating by agreeing to buy him a box of bars and a box of chips, he's 11 and I think getting a little old for it and we've recently had a registered sex offender move into our area so I'd be more comfortable with him at home. Looks like we are going to have a big rain storm on Halloween here, hopefully it doesn't interfere with the kids trick or treating too much.

We usually get around 10 kids. I buy the best, biggest, most expensive candy bars I can find in the hopes that word will spread that we give out great candy and they'll bring their friends.

I usually give the Christmas themed stuff at the beginning. Last year, I gave a GC for December 25th but a movie and popcorn (if they asked for one) is a good idea too. I printed out a December calendar and wrote a different item down for each day (pretty much randomly), which helped me out.

Ok, I am here to vent.... came home from Girl Guide training last night(no one was home), went into the kitchen and water is coming up through the floor. Apparently we have a water leak in the water line from the street to the house and now it is coming in the house. Trying to get hold of someone to come look but no one is home/available etc. PRAYING that this will be covered by insurance, if not we are up SH*( creek. And I have already been told the that the puppy will have to wait for now, there is no way we can afford it. I am so upset but I understand. Please say a few words for us.... Hubby gets himself so worked up and stressed out he is impossible to deal with and live with. And of course when I started crying about not getting the puppy, he was not impressed and freaked out at me and left the house. So I went to bed and cried... I am feeling a bit better this morning but hate feeling like this.
I know there are a lot worse things that can happen in a persons life and things can be replaced but I just needed to vent and get it out.
Thanks for listening.
