bye dan! Have a great evening.
O.K. so I have a story about STOOPID computers now.
I will shorten it though. So late last night I try to click onto the desktop internet icon, a message says something like
" if you try to open 40 items at once it may slow down yer puter" I look and all my desk top icons are highlighted???
So I choose NO, don't open all 40. This back and forth game repeated for about 10 min, as every time I clicked one box down all 40 lit back up again.
DH to the rescue!!! He says just do a quick restore to say a few weeks ago. o.k.
It will not let me do that either. In fact he was convinced this was a silly nuisance virus thingy that I must have somehow caused.
Over 1/2 hr passed, DS looks up on his puter for solutions. He sits down at mine and the mouse will not let him click anything now. This son tends to " fix " things by hitting them, so I am nervous now.
All of a sudden he notices the shift key that is on the right side of the keyboard ( a key I was NEVER even aware was there, as I use the left one) is depressed, as in stuck in the down position!!
He releases it and ALL my problems are solved!!
So, we figured the dog did it, just like the dog eats homework.
He ( my avater Rufus) was on my chair earlier and DH and I had chuckled at how he was trying to climb up onto the desk from the chair.
By him pushing that key and it sticking, well it was a nightmare!!
I wonder what a housecall to a puter expert would have cost??

I m back momentarily again,Hi...

we ordered in pizza last night so i'm wondering if we should just reheat what we didnt eat in the oven and do that,i realllly don't feel like cooking today...if i do cook it's gonna be this broccoli shredded chicken casserole i saw on pinterest,in the slow cooker.
my son is begging me to put the xmas decor up.i was thinking of changing color scheme.last year my tree and decor was all blue and silver.i was thinking of switching to red and silver and gold.do you guys ever change color schemes for decorations? i was actually intently looking at the black tree at canadian tire and going all goth with it,purple and black with silver...a bit much? lol

Hello from NewYork!!
Just popping in to say HI!!
Oh, it's so fantastic here...I could live here!!
We saw "Chicago" yesterday, and the cast...Roxie,Velma and the chorus were terrific. However, someone should tell BillyRayCyrus that he should just go home and look after his daugter and give up the dream of Broadway! A totally wooden performance, no movement, no inflections in his voice, and that voice? He used to sing?! Ugh!GET THE HOOK!!! But it was worth it for the other lead roles and chorus.
Today was the Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular. Disneyworld? Fugedaboudit!! THIS was real! THIS was unbelievable! AND in 3D!!! If I ived here I'd go every year, more than once! It was everything I expected and more! Oh, I wish I could have taken you all!!!
Now I'm relaxing with a glass of wine, watching the Steelers game and looking out of our window at the Manhattan skyline....
I hope this finds you all well...!!! Take good care....Lynn

Hi everyone, just a quick pop in while the men are gone....
Tudor, it would be cool to be able to change up colours on a Christmas tree.
We don't because we get a live tree, and most of our ornaments are handmade, or from just years of accumulating them, and they are just a variety of colours.
Hope everyone else had a great long weekend (for those of you who did). It was nice having the company at home today for me!
