Spam!!!!!

Every morning, a few of us are in the tea room, early. It never fails, every morning, ALWAYS 4 or 5 spam threads started. It drives me nuts, report a thread, then you have to wait a bit until you can report another. Why oh why do the same people come back day after day, spend the time to make a new account, just to post these threads. If we want to want a damm episode of something on tv, we'll just watch it, we don't need to go through you stupid website

I feel the exact way that you feel...I have to report several at all when I am connected in those hours...What's the goal to do that? Take time to subscribe and harass us with spam when those dude could subscribe for saving like us...if no...then move on!!!!

Just reported 5 ... youoou they are erased!!!! Altought ...I think it is strategy of the part of the spammers....when you hit the button report...you still have to read a little of the post...

I like Spam threads...i'll never report them as that's a moderators job to keep an eyes out for them. I also like to see how long it takes for the moderators to remove them.

I'm a SAHM and I don't have time to read each and every post that appears in a day. I'm sure the mods, many of whom work, certainky don't have the time either....

Not reporting is a very petty action and hampers the smooth running of the forum.

OMG Holly! I dont know very much about comp. but i tought to myself that they should not be there nothing of there thread is related to saving or they dont want to chat, and, like you i say if i want to watch some shows i do. I dont need people to tell me witch one to watch......... There is so many other site they can go on, so, this beeing said LIVE OUR SITE ALONE..

True....there's a lot of "Thanks" type posts by some before the spamming starts. That's irritating since you can't tell from the start if some-one is genuine or not.

I don't need to worry about a smooth forum as i do not own the site. Let others worry about that...i enjoy spam posts. They're entertaining!

OMG Holly I hate them with a passion. So frustrating to come on here at 6 AM and see just straight spam posts. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell what the genuine posts are and what the spam posts are lol

Spammers are almost as irritating as trolls. Every Forum has its share of both. All we can do it keep reporting them and hope they eventually go away.

I haven't seen any spam posts, but I only skim the threads. If there seems to be spam I just don't bother clicking on it.

spammers are just like trolls, annoying and they never seem to go away.
That being said, us MODs do like to sleep and some of us have jobs during the day besides SC so we aren't able to be constantly catching all the spam threads.
Reporting the spam definitely helps, so if you see it report it and it will get taken care of eventually lol
