I haven't been able to do anything much this morning (hence, you will see a lot of pics posted in other threads from me...)
Just was getting potatoes, veg, and meat ready for the slow cooker - took a bathroom break, stopped at the fridge and was getting some dill out of a package from the freezer - saw something out of the corner of my eye into the living room - and screamed - BUT it was my son! He was freaked in return, because he said when I came through the hallway going to the kitchen he said hi to me at least six times, but I was in another world... but he felt bad because he scared me. He had just popped in because he forgot his toque and is working outside this morning.
Oh, well, I got another hug and another I love you, so it was all good!

I sometimes scream even when I know someone is home lol I can't imagine what I would do if I thought I was alone and saw someone...I'd become hysterical lol

Finished my Christmas shopping! Just bought BF's big gift...a new tennis racket bag signed by his fav tennis player!! He will flip!

Unfortunately, I get scared all the time by opening a door from the bedroom or bathroom, and there's either my son or husband in the hallway or kitchen - they just laugh, and can't figure out why I scream so loudly. Uh, I don't get scared quietly, lol!

Jusr found out my uncle just outside Toronto passed away 2 days ago, I think cancer. My mom died in 1998, of her family my other uncle last year and now him there is only 1 uncle left of her brothers.

Thanks, we were not very close because he lived in Toronto area and I saw him like once in last 10 years. I'll post what I posted on facebook to someone else there:


Funny thing is they didn't tell me till today but it's probably because(how do I say this kindly) He was a good guy but very pushy on his vegan/vegetarian views but yet smoked like 3 packs a day so lost a lot of respect from other family members. I had no issues with him and didn't see him much. However I got along with him and didn't take his rants about healthy living too seriously and will miss him.

Pizza pizza now has tuna as a pizza topping I'm intrigued by that lol, wonder if its any good on a pizza.

I'm actually leaning towards getting it lol, as long as our pizza pizza here does it. They sometimes run out of stuff and when I order online will call me back and tell me.
