I just had a three hour lunch... so dinner sounds like a horrible thing right now. And I didn't eat for three hours, there was lots of chatting, etc, otherwise I'd blow up.

Tonight I made sausages(cut into chunks). I had perogies, the kids had fries and DH had the rest of the Chow Mein from last night with it!

I have so many veggies about to go bad so I am going to come up with creative ways to eat these all tonight before they are spoiled.

Turkey-Turnip-Potato Casserole was for dinner. It was not bad, but not great. Anyone want to volunteer on the clean up commitee? It was also well done!

Found a frozen lasagna ...so that is what we are having!! I think I will make salad with it. Since I can't eat the lasagna (wheat, dairy and beef).

Do you do anything in particular with the sweet potato fries? I've made them in the oven, and they turn out kind of soft. It works somewhat better if I soak the freshly cut potatoes in water with a bit of salt for several hours ahead of time, then I used my salad spinner to dry them off.
For dinner tonight I made this:

I actually made this last night too, DS and DH loved it. Today I had more chicken and modified it a bit. Reduced the soy sauce this time (thought it was a bit salty) and added a bit of maple syrup. Last night it was on skinless chicken thighs, tonight it was on chicken drumsticks (with skin). The second time was better, I think the skin really helps with moisture although it does add more fat.

I made a pot of chili this afternoon after we got home from the flea market. I'm going to make some roasted garlic and cheese gluten free biscuits to go with it, and I'mm make a watermelon and feta cheese salad as well.
They had fabulous fresh picked tomatoes and chili's so I made the chili with all fresh ingredients, nothing from a can, not even the tomatoes! We all need a little sunshine every now and then
