I attended a bridal shower at 4pm today, so I had lots of great snacks. Three of the 25 people there were pregnant. Two brought young children. I actually ate a large variety of fresh fruit, crackers, cheese, pickles, chips, dip, and cookies with dip. I was hungry, had seconds and skipped the oreo icecream cake. I brought my water bottle and passed on the pop.
Dh and LO had what they wanted out of the fridge. When I arrived home LO promptly raided my lunch kit and ate some marble cheese.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Left over Roast Chix./Potatoes/Carrots and Turnips from last night ( Put the vegs. around the chix. so super easy supper ) and Hot Wings/Pasta/Mixed Vegetables from the night before. I cooked up some Penne Pasta and added canned tomatoes ( Olive Oil and Garlic kind ) plus 2 big spoon fulls of cheez whiz and chopped green onions. Was it ever good. Might make a pot of Chix. soup since I have lots of drippings left over from the Chix. but didn't make gravy this time for a change. Ok....OK.... I lazied out. LOL. Might also make scones to add to the mix as well Will see how the rest of the day plays out

St Patrick's weekend was a huge success. I had soooo much fun. Lots of food. My favorite out of it all was Saturday night, we cooked beer battered cod, calamari, the trays of crispy, deep fried fish was endless and so yummy..and with we had homemade creamy coleslaw and red potatoes chopped and baked on a cookie sheet sprinkled with cheese, bacon bits, etc served with sour cream. We cooked it all at the cabin on a propane stove so it was perfect. I'm still eating leftovers from Tuesday...lol...yesterday was the last of the chili and carrot cake with cream cheese. Another big weekend planned for the cabin (seeing that we still have so much snow, enjoy it while I can!!) so will have to come up with something different for this weekend

I'm having the meat cravings but I don't have anything in the freezer! So, tofu it will be. I'll be marinating it with tamari, honey and ginger, then pan fry. It will be like a meatless burger on a lightly toasted kaiser roll with lettuce and tomato. I'll have it with my leftover mixed veggie soup from last night.
