Not sure what I'll be getting today at RCSS (by the way, it's NO tax day and I'll be strolling slooowly to see what I can find lol), thinking of making a spring mix salad with goat cheese tonight.

Beef Stew and Dumplings. My parents used to make this with a pressure cooker , the dumplings were so fluffy and big. I only have a pot so they arenèt as fluffy., but good.

Last night my honey made chicken tetrazini. And I drank way too
much wine. Today I made homemade turkey meatballs for tomorrow nights dinner. ( homemade oven fries with ceaser salad and veggies). Now to figure out tonight's dinner.

Having spaghetti for dinner tonight. Made the spaghetti sauce earlier, baked the baguette (frozen from Costco). Will make garlic bread with this later. Just have to cook the noodles and dinner is ready. no salad tonight.

Good thing there's no Kraft Macaroni and Cheese here. That's American stuff, we have Kraft Dinner!

I wanted to go out to supper but was vetoed by DS. I get sick of being the only cook in this house. They had leftover chicken with potato and salad, I had leftover potato soup.

Wow, change of plans - happily! My husband took his van for our son to work on, and I told him to take him out for supper afterwards, so I was just going to have 'whatever' for supper.

Well, husband surprized me when he came home with a bag of takeout for me - the exact meal both of them had there; he said because it was so yummy he wanted me to have it, too, and knew I'd like it. Luckily I hadn't eaten yet!
First time having Vietnamese food, too - I knew it was from a place my son and his workmates go to because it's close to their work, and they get lots of food for cheap. And my son always has this one combo meal because it's the biggest and the best, he always said.

It was grilled pork with pork balls on noodles with salad, with spring rolls. Plus the leftover dry ribs they had ordered. It was interesting - different subtle flavours from what I've had before, but a very good combo - oh, and the dipping sauce for the rolls was yummy. I did what husband said and poured it all over the noodles and veggies.
I couldn't finish it, there's about a third left - so lunch tomorrow!

We are having meatballs (homemade beforehand and frozen) with gravy, mashed potatoes, garlicky asparagus (break of ends, place in shallow microwavable dish, sprinkle chopped garlic, drizzle olive oïl, microwave for 5 minutes, to die for!), and a nice green salad.
