Tonight's meal took some planning. A couple weeks ago I purchased a waffle iron for $5 off a Facebook page. Yesterday I bought 2L vanilla Chapman's icecream - $4 coupon. Today I bought big ring Ukrainian kubasa to fry up. The result was tonight's supper: home made waffles with fried kubasa, milk, and your choice of butter, syrup, icecream, and microwaved frozen strawberries. It really hit the spot! There are leftover waffles for tomorrow. LO ate quite a bit too.

I had such an amazing weekend, the weather was beautiful yesterday..it was stormy today but otherwise a perfect weekend. All the food I made on Friday was a success and gobbled up..pulled pork sandwiches, taco dip, hot wings, pizza and kabobs...the cream cheese chocolate brownies were the hit

Tried Olymel chicken chunks honey garlic - well the chicken inside was good, flavour okay - but did not like the coating at all. Had with fries (gravy for me), and raw cauliflower for both of us. Husband also had some leftover ribs and pork balls.
But, wow, after I ate - had a HUGE bad reaction, which could have only been from the chicken.
We've had Olymel chicken nuggets and patties before, and they were good, and I've never reacted badly to them, so we won't be getting the chunks again.

Olymel is usually good, never had any problems with their food. I suggest you phone Olymel and let them know. Also it could have been the combination of food you ate, sometimes they react badly to each other. And also make sure you wash any raw vegies because you never know.

Keljo what a great time you had!!!!!!!!! We have a farmer friend who would organize hay rides on the frozen river. All the kids loved it. Then we would make a cookout on the ice. He put bales of hay all around the fire for everyone to sit on and we would have hotdogs on sticks, marshmallows, etc and best of all, Sangria for the adults! Those were the days! Everyone`s kids are all grown and everyone has scattered across Canada.
